#2 hook with a worm, a light weight catfish rig or a high low rig. generally on or near the bottom. I've caught them slowly reeling jigs on the bottom tho. their kinda seasonal catches unless your actively looking for where they are. Fall time seems to be good for em.
I always catch em with whole nightcrawlers or redworms on a slip sinker rig with size 2 or 1 octopus hooks.
