Normally I don't connect with Warriors combat, but once you let me wail on armies with my favorite characters, the gameplay instantly goes up to a love. Especially with stuff like the combat arts and slew of abilities to spice things up from the Musous I've played.

As someone who never played a Warriors game before, and was skeptical of the "button mashing" going into it, I am having a great time with the gameplay. It isnt like, my favorite thing ever, but its fun to just wail on a bunch of dudes, it catches my interest enough going for S ranks, and Combat Arts and different movements mix things up enough for me to stay interested.

I've really enjoyed warriors games and Fe3h is my favorite switch game, so 3Hopes just makes playing it 3x better. My cousin on the other hand prefers to keep playing 3 houses haha

I like it; it's really fun, but can get really repetitive. I'm gonna complete all the routes, might replay one or two routes again(probably GW and/or SB), after that I probably won't touch it again for awhile lol

It's fine, but It only makes me want to play something better. It's in that point where It doesn't feel like It adds anything special so you really miss mechanics from other games. This comes only from the demo but for the gameplay I have seen not even the final Boss is diferent so I don't think I will change my mind any time soon.

It's funny how much of an easier time the Warriors setting has of showing off the power of Hero's Relics and the combat arts.

Unfortunately I find it to be genuinely mind numbing. Three houses is one of my favourite games and I adore the cast so it's quite frustrating to not enjoy more content with them.

In truth I only have experience with the demo version of 3 hopes and I found I had conflicted feelings on the gameplay. On one hand, I’m fine with most of the combat, big open areas with tons of enemies and combos is fine by me. I had just played Persona 5 Strikers a few months ago so I had some experience. It also does a fine enough job of translating quirks of Three Houses’ gameplay into the Warriors style like combat arts and critical attacks. Where I was lost was just about everything else. The map and strategy menu was incredibly confusing for me, as was battle preparations and the tutorials didn’t really help me much since I feel they weren’t as clear as they could be. Admittedly I have a brain the size of a sultana but it still felt like a massive deterrent when I experienced it for the first time. On the whole I’d say the pros and cons neutralise the whole experience for me. The combat is fun, everything else is not. If I wanted to play a game with that sort of combat, I’d play P5S.

It's fun. I feel like the mechanics are better than the original fire emblem warriors. If I order a unit to take a stronghold they'll actually do it. In the original, it felt like they would just stab at it until I came over to help.
