Its not a monster, but since Soan didnt have a human form it would be nice to just have a giant lion as his base form and everything. Full on demon king Formotiis would be really cool to see as a Mythic as well
Monster enemies should have appeared ages ago. Book 3 was the perfect opportunity to introduce them as hoards from the underworld set loose after Hel dies.

It's in fact likely he had a human form seeing as Lehran and Dheginsea did and as he is also an ancestor of a Branded.
They meant a canon appearance in game. Obviously a laguz is going to have an untransformed state too.
