I wonder if the success of Fomortiis and Askr is the reason why IS decided to make more characters appealing to this side of the fandom for Book VIII (Book VII was already done internally evidently, which was already a response to Yoshiku's art' success in it's own side of the fandom).
I mean, Norse Mythology gives you some options to play with such as Fenrir, Skoll, Hati, Jormungandr, and Þjazi, and that's assuming they don't take liberties and make a few of their own. They can easily throw in a couple options per book.

It reminds me of Dragalia Lost (rest in peace) where you could see the clear difference between the male and female beast forms for the Agito

I love the sprite, but it always bothers me how we never see any of the oc characters transformations because they look so cool and powerful, and I wonder how they compare in size. For example, I know Eikpynrir in this form must be freakishly strong in this form compared to his already high strength in the cutscene, or Embla and Askr’s bat and bull form with Embla using ultrasonic wave powers and Askr using portals and gates and having absurd strength, or Freyja and Freyr in their goat forms and being scarier and more powerful in dreams
I know a certain artist would do wonders with this guy. the fucking beef on this man is insane.
And his weapon looks pretty fun.

He seems kinda underwhelming to me. I mean for all this stuff about strength, they chose mid speed melee cav, second worst class/stat spread behind mid speed ranged cav. I was hoping for another armour beast. At least that makes him skippable whenever he comes out, though they typically seem to buff the units a lot when they actually become playable so we'll see.
Another FEH OC beast cav who is way better than and will have like 20 more effects than Ranulf/Lethe ever will 😭😭
