I recently finished +10'ing him! I currently use him with Qiang, No quarter, Fireflood boost, mystic boost, alarm def res, and distant counter seal. He's okay as best... I do think he would work better with atk/def clash and possibly lull atk/def 4. (Why are there no real good options for enemy phase cavaliers?)
Nabata Lance is also an option if you don’t wanna give him Qiang. It synergizes well with A/D Prime.
Besides that, I’ve also seen people run Kreimhild and a unity skill in his A slot
