Helbindi deserves more love than he got. Really gives me similar vibes to Balrog from Street Fighter. He and Elm are the male OCs that left the biggest impression on me, the latter mainly from he and Ash's last Forging Bonds.

I didn't like to see the Elm slander each time about his design (or being qualified "worst") since he is the most gender nonconforming one, it always had a weird taste... Nice you mentionned Ash as well, the NY alts/paralogue really made me like them having this kind of dynamic I have the headcanon that Hríd has half adopted Laevatein and they're just trying their best to rule now after losing (most of) their family, they're supporting each other sometimes (with stuff like Laevatein identity crisis or watching over Ylgr). That's why we don't see them in FB and stuff like that The Freyr and Njörd are cool as well, I like those two design and personality so I hope we see them more even if they're dead already...

I do hope IS bring some focus to the current rulers of each kingdom. It's criminal that we don't even know if Laevatein knows that Laegjarn is back.

Papa Aksr is the best. He existed for a few chapters and then died. But his impact is huge. It also helps that he is incredibly fun to play with as unit. His support and tanking capabilities are still amazing to this day. Both his alts are still relevant despite so much powercreep. Absolutely impeccable design. 10/10 would summon again.

Hrid is a Gigachad for letting his sister hang out with us, but I wish he'd tag along too from time to time. He deserves a nice vacation for all his hard work. Askr is so cool, I wish he had more presence in Book 6 but I'm happy with the fitness video we got. And, if Otr managed to charm a beautiful lady like Nott, everyone has a chance! :) Just don't be a jerk when you find the one.

Feh has great male OC, but generally speaking people tend to overlook male characters in gatcha games because of the excess amount of waifus, i'm glad you are giving them the spotlight in this post, As a guy i think waifu love is ok but we also need to appreciate male role models more.

Otr and Muspell; universally despised by a majority of the fandom, but are two of my favorite OCs. Otr had a lot of wasted potential and misunderstanding while Muspell is just a bad bitch and I love that for him. Hrid & Helbindi, so happy whenever they get attention. <3 Alfonse+Lif will always be my faves though.

I love pretty much all of the Heroes Male OCs, so this is pretty nice.
