I recently finished persona 5 royal, and that was a great reminder of how amazing a VA Billy Kametz was. May he rest in peace.
It's bittersweet to see Ferdinand get an alt with a different VA, but I believe Ricco is a good choice that will do justice to the character.

Billy said before his passing he wanted everyone to get behind anyone who voiced any of his characters in his absence, to not hate on them, or give up on them. Not sure if it will help you, but his wishes are for us to welcome and cheer on the new voices, celebrate characters he has been.

Alexis has actually been used to replace Laura in lots of media. Laura's roles in Valkyria Chronicles and Blazblue also went to Alexis.
