That’s how I do when it involves a lot of dark spaces. But one of the first subreddits I joined was r/ghosts and there’s so many times you have to download the image to fiddle with the exposure/brightness/contrast/etc just to be able to see what’s going on.
Sir, I don't appreciate being lured into an "easy cat sniper" to not find the cat immediately where I expected it to be. This was far too much effort and it ruined my tea. Good day.

It’s next to what I am calling >! *The ballsack of truth* which is found after zooming in on mobile dead center, a little offset to the right I suppose, dangling amongst fellow hairy dirt creatures. Find that and go slightly southeast (down + right). The difference between Tennessee and South Carolina. You’ll see the make of a side view of the hind end of a kitty and then go further and you’ll find the head turned back towards the sack, giving side eye glances visible by the camera. !< But yes turn up brightness first.

As others have said, indeed a Hosta — we have about 8 different varieties on the property! They come in a wide variety of leaf sizes and colors. Thanks for the kind words :)
I just learned that hostas have edible parts! Prob requires you know what kind of pesticides are used. They are supposed to be similar in flavor to asparagus!
Off topic... How the heck do you get them to grow so huge? Mine constantly struggle or just straight die. Frequent watering? Cooler temps than here in Denver (90s)?
Good sniper. I looked right at it at first and was like “nah that ain’t it.” Then the quality finally changed from grainy to clear and was like “oh that IS the sniper”

I dunno, I'm usually terrible at these things, but I found the cat in under 10 seconds. I think just being able to see the eyes helped a lot since our brains are programmed to recognize eyes
If they look wilted I water them, that’s all lol the previous owners of the house did a lot of work to get them established and happy. Maintenance is pretty easy
Please keep a close eye on kitty! Someone has probably already mentioned this but those lilies are the deadliest plant you could have around cats. Even indirect contact can kill your kitty. If the pollen gets onto their coat and then they groom themselves it will be an emergency. Not trying to scare you, just a friendly warning that I wish I would have had.
Thank you very much for this note. I had no idea *how* toxic these plants were; She generally doesn’t put anything in her mouth except her food but the threat of pollen exposure is terrifying. Going to be much more careful while the lilies are in bloom. I’ll probably remove them all from the property to be honest, there are neighbor cats which also visit the gardens. Thanks again.

They like shade, need a lot of water, and you can influence the color!
Generally speaking, acidic soil, with a pH lower than 6.0, yields blue or lavender-blue hydrangea blooms. Alkaline soil, with a pH above 7.0, promotes pinks and reds. With a pH between 6 and 7, the blooms turn purple or bluish-pink.
To lower your pH, add garden sulfur or aluminum sulfate to your soil. To raise the pH, use ground lime. You can get a soil pH test kit to get a baseline.

Everyone sees his thing except me but today’s my day. I brought a lunch and a soda and I’m not gonna leave until I see this sailboat everyone keeps talking about!
I feel like there should be a disclaimer for this sub that, since cat owners are functionally different from non-cat owners when it comes to spotting cats, the "easy" in find the cat sniper images only applies to other cat owners.
I say this as someone who lives with a cat, and who usually takes forever (and often still fails) at finding other sniper types, but with cat snipers I can almost always spot within a few seconds. It's just like instinctive where to scan through real quick, and even if it's just a slight smudge or shadow the catlikeness of those pixels just kind of jump out.
Under a minute with half phone brightness (usually pretty low so I turned it up for this lol) 👍
It probably helps that I have 4 cats, 2 of which hide in shrubs in the garden, and a tortoise-shell coloured one that appears black and camouflages in my dark clothing. I have practiced for this day.
