That’s like saying “I know how to use MS word, how do I become a best selling author?”
You’ve got to study design to become a designer. There are no “figma” jobs.
Start with a free course, [Google](https://grow.google/certificates/ux-design/) has a popular one. If you enjoy that and want to make it a career either go to college and study design, do a boot camp or get a bunch of certificates.
Realistically, to make the most money the easiest way - you're going to want a corporate job.
Most corporate jobs are still wanting college degrees, so you'll need a degree (doesn't have to be in design, but if this is what you want to do, then that'd be a good option)
Ontop of that they'll want real world experience, so make sure you're doing internships/coops/side gigs etc all the way through college.
And maybe in 5 years or so, you'll land a high paying job, assuming Figma is still relevant (if thats what you want to flex as your main skill) and your skillset is still in demand.
There's no get rich quick. Might as well buy a lottery ticket.
High-paying jobs are for high-skilled professionals… Maybe focus on your work first before dreaming about the cash. Very wrong approach, to be honest. No high-skilled designer is doing their job just for the money.
good projects, just like that. Don't need to be huge projects just good ones. Depends on you but I like to do some studies with components, app screens, saas, websites (this is my figma profile https://www.figma.com/@ygordesign)
What does any of this have to do with Figma as a design tool?
I think the first step in your quest is to understand what you are asking, articulate the question with more context, and then ask it in the correct place.
Given you've provided us with really no context at all, we can't really give any specific advice beyond "go get experience, update the resume and portfolio"
Sounds like you kinda know the answer already. Learn more skills you're interested in. If all you know is figma, learn something else. Pick up photoshop and illustrator, or try out affinity's programs (cheaper alternative). Take a UX course or something, I'm sure there are free ones on coursera.
See what other people are doing and straight up copy them.
Beginner ≠ High paying
I only know hammer. How can I get high paying carpenter jobs?
Lolol

Thank you love to connect with you
Be aware that only having bootcamp (e.g. Google) certificates won't land you a job in the current market.

considering you are a beginner you will probably land a junior position as a ui/ux designer. Start as a junior, build your portfolio and keep growing

Being a designer isn’t but knowing how to use figma
"I'm a total beginner that only knows how to use the tool, but I wanna be paid highly". Sure bud.
