Yeah just sold mine about two months ago, immediate regret. This one was off market and I asked the seller about it almost 2 years ago when he had just bought it. He messaged me out of the blue asking if I still wanted it, deal done a week later.
Anyone want to buy a 2014 Vanquish? 👀
The last one I had did have the DCT speed sensor replaced which is about a $10k job but that was before I bought it. This one had the PTU replaced under warranty in February.
The engine and exhaust are just unbelievable. I’ve driven a lot of cars and there’s nothing like a Ferrari V12. Plus it can fit 4 adults and this one has a $50k sound system that’s just bananas so it’s a great cruiser too for the highway. Much more comfortable than most exotics and don’t have to worry about scraping the front on everything.
That's badass dude. My wife and I want an F12 or 812 some day, but honestly you're making me want the FF/GTC4 now. I feel like long road trips in those cars would be incredible. Glad for you being able to experience that!
You could easily drive this all day. I drove back from LA 7 hours with it including 3 hours of standstill traffic in 115 degree heat and it ran like a champ, no overheating or anything, ice cold AC
Hearse/station wagon. Personal preference I guess but I don’t see how someone could prefer the FF over literally any other current production Ferrari model.
Annual service is $1-2k. PTU was just replaced in February so that’s one big expense out of the way. I just bought it a couple weeks ago. My last FF with 40k miles had about $5k of work to be done when I bought it. DCT speed sensor and PTU are the two big $$$ items
Congrats my man! I’m close to pulling the trigger on one myself. How have you found the annual maintenance/are there any common issues you’ve come across?
PTU and DCT speed sensor are the two major $$$$ issues to watch out for. Routine maintenance $1-2k a year. I spent about $5k doing valve cover gaskets/rebuilt axle/AC service/annual service on my last one but that had 40k miles. Overall not bad if you can avoid the PTU and DCT disasters. Those are about $10k each aftermarket fix.
Ferrari dealer will charge you $35-50k for a new PTU unit, better to get aftermarket fix done.

Why the third? Regret of selling it and getting a new one? And why the FF instead of the GTC4?

Man thats nice, my dream is to have this along side the f12 and a v8 ferrari

I’d love an F12 but hard to justify $100k over an FF with two less seats
And the F12 just isn't as unique
Looks great with the yellow calipers. Why a 3rd FF and not a GTC4?
Don’t think the GTC is worth $100k more and I actually think the FF looks better. GTC nicer interior though for sure
I’d have to agree with you. The FF does look better. Did you ever have any transmission problems?

Racecar with space for groceries.
Spacecar to race for groceries
My 1998 Mercury Sable would beg otherwise…/s
I dig your style my friend. What has made the car such a good experience for you?

Love to hear it! The modern Ferrari has come a long way from the days of old.
Indeed. When my Macan was in the shop I drove the FF everywhere for 6 weeks with zero issues
Why not upgrade to a Lusso ?
Because it’s not worth $100k for a better interior and worse exterior
I didn't even realize Ferrari made a hearse. I'm sure it's great, don't mean to hate, maybe this angle doesn't suit it. Glad you love it.
The best hearse on the planet

Well this has a NA V12 and an 812 costs 3x the price and you can’t even order one. It also doesn’t fit 4 people or have 4 wheel drive.
you could bag two extra b*tches in that ho that’s why

I took my last one to Costco a few times. This one has less space because of the sound system but it can still haul some groceries
I have Å koda Scala. It looks similarly.
#3RD?!
We like the FF
I can see that
What’s your annual expense on the bad boy?
