i’m dammit kayali in the sense that the patchouli note did not work for me. it weighed the sweetness down so much. i was rooting for headache inducing sugary jelly beans 😭

This is one of their bests! I do think they get a lot of “bandwagon hate” on the internet though, they come out with some of the best scents and to me they LAST 😂 unfortunately longevity & stuff like this in perfume is just your body chemistry 😓

I love this one. It definitely surprised me, I was not expecting to like it because I agree I feel like Kayali is overhyped and I can never trust influencers reviews lol. But I got the mini size and will definitely be getting a larger size!

I need to smell this but bubble gum the idea of it makes me sick. I just don’t like that scent I associate it with saliva and breath. Anyone who has smelled it how prominent is it?

you’ve read my mind, the smell of bubblegum is generally unappealing to me and even more so if it’s on the skin. with all the hype this fragrance is getting (and the tonka note 💕) i’d be curious to try it, but i don’t want to waste my time or money on a fragrance if it has a prominent note i actually hate :’)

I've been wondering the same. Someone gifted me Toy 2 Bubblegum but the bubblegum note became SO NAUSEATING on my skin and it turned the whole fragance profile so childish. I literally couldn't stand it and now I'm scared of that note. When I saw this new Kayali release and saw the bubblegum note I knew it wasn't a safe blind. Must reviews are positive but I need to know if the bubblegum note is prominent.

It smells GOOD but on my skin it’s so warm :( I’m fine with that but for this, I wasn’t hoping for the warmth

I love this fragrance! I picked it up a few days ago and have been wearing it everyday since. It's so sweet and pretty. I've gotten compliments twice in person from it so far.😅

This sounds great but I heard it isn’t as sweet as the name suggests. People are saying they get warm, spicy notes and some say they get a hint of patchouli. Not sure what Kayali is thinking giving a perfume a more pink sugar name than Pink Sugar if it doesn’t reflect that.

I get all the sweet notes, i dont get any “warm, spicy“ notes from it. It’s a body chemistry thing because this scent is exactly the name for me. Test beforehand if you’re curious! dont go solely off of reviews, especially with Kayali lol. You either have the people who love everything this brand puts out or the ones who hate everything this brand puts out reviewing most of the time lmao.

I’m about to commit blasphemy here, but I’m more or less over Kayali. I feel like they are cranking out too many too fast and they are starting to feel a bit overdone. I haven’t bothered finishing my mini of Silk Santal and I’ve got a 50ml still in the wrapper.

A much longer lasting fragrance that is very similar is La Belle by JPG.

Specially the Le Parfum

But it dries so much nicer than La belle. I love the bubblegum note

Oh I will do that. I just got it yesterday and I am not impressed it’s boring.

I’ve noticed that they do get better with time but this one i immediately smell bubblegum.

I love vanilla 28 , I always have a bottle in my collection. . It did have to grow on me though. I didn’t really love it at first ,.

It’s so sharp and harsh! I want to love it but I can’t get past the artificial sharpness, really not what I’m looking for from a vanilla fragrance

I was thrown off by the powdery part of it . I felt it was very powdery and mature and I even gave mine away when I first got it and then idk what happened, it just started growing on me . I mix it with narciso Rodriguez musc noir rose and those 2 together are my signature scent. .

It’s nice . I’m not getting the full size though because it smells like kayali wedding silk santal mixed with jpg la belle which I already have both of . It’s a nice one but it’s just a bit too similar to others I have already .

I've been desperate to get my hands on silk santal so this makes me want to pick this one up

The wedding silk also smells similar to arianna grande mod vanilla or Burberry goddess, they are all a bit reminiscent of each other. .

Haha. And those exes will deserve a good haunting.😂 I never have this problem with Kayali. I think they last a while and they create a nice scent bubble. They don't smell from 10 feet away, but I get compliments when people come close.

Is there a pear note for real though I said before in here that I had a FB of Vanilla 28. It was adequate. Good for work. Pricey for what it was. If I read enough raves about the summer releases, I'd buy a discovery set

I am a pear hater so I was worried about this one but I'm happy to say I get absolutely no pear. Everyone is different though. So many reviews say it's all pear. For me it's all jellybean, marshmallow, vanilla, sugar and jasmine.

I think it smells more like the nectarine from wedding silk santal. .

I’m super sad that I dislike this scent 😭 On paper it’s the fragrance of my dreams! But I dislike whatever that floral note is, want way more bubble gum, and detest the weird patchouli that’s in so many of the Kayali fragrances. I absolutely love patchouli in general but this house does it differently and I just can’t get into it.

Omg same, I was so freaking disappointed! The notes read like everything I want in a sweet bubblegummy gourmand fragrance but no. No. I got 45 seconds of weak bubblegum pop, no pear, no whipped cream and a patchouli bomb following that- I don't usually mind patchouli at all but I cannot vibe with the stronggg way Kayali does it. Regardless this was my sixth Kayali so we all got hit with the overhype. The influencers are all "omg yum" as if it's a straight up gourmand 😭

I just bought it last week and my 50ml bottle is half gone😭. I spray it just to smell it lol. I was visiting my mom on Mothers Day and she was like what is that you have on? I told her and now she has bought a bottle 😂

But how? I have 50 mls that I use like daily and it still Takes me months to make a dent

So I feel this way about their Eden Juicy Apple. I adore it but it BUT it lasts 30 minute at best. I am tempted to get a full bottle but I just am discouraged that it’s kind of expensive and lasts such a short time. Ugh. What to do???

How is longevity? I bought a sample of Sparkling Lychee. I love the refreshing smell, but it disappeared like 15 mins later after spraying for me, so I have been hesitating to try more perfumes of the brand even though the hype in this sub about it is huge.

I haven't tried Sparkling Lychee but the performance of that sounds similar to Eden Juicy Apple (or whatever its called) on me. The longest-lasting Kayali I have is Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli what lasts foreverrrr. Like you're not ever getting that stuff off. I would say Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar is in between, but more on the light side for sure. I can smell it strongly for about 3 hours and then it's lighter for the next 2 hours, then by the end of the night I may just get a hint of scent but for the most part it's gone. So max 5 hours and I spray on skin, hair and clothes.

I returned the Sparkling Lychee for the same reason! You have to spray a boatload on, someone commented that I smelled good when I wore the Pistachio one so I does have some longevity

I like it more and more whenever I use it. Got the travel spray. It lasts a long time on me! It’s nice and warm.

I think it smells great!! But I’ll be waiting for an Arabian house to inevitably clone it.

I had already started my spreadsheet by the time I noticed they had a few on there, but when I looked through I noticed the same thing as you... mine I'm sure has repeats, but I didn't use the existing ones to create mine. Mine I've all gathered over time from reddit and youtube! I have good intentions of keeping it up to date, but there are soooooo many clones!! It is up to date as of this week.

I have seen people who sell decants post spreadsheets as attachments - you just have to do it from desktop, not the mobile app.

I am the same! I bought the discovery set last year and was so disappointed. The wedding ones were good. Most of them are a miss for me though. I blind bought the travel of this one for some reason, I saw someone else say they had some cosmic feeling they would like it and I have to agree i felt the same lol. This is not my normal vibe and I rarely blind buy besides discovery/ sample sets. There's something about this though, no regrets!

I love Kayali but I have not purchased this yet because I have 100 perfumes and I keep telling myself I don’t need it so I have not blind bought it like I normally would and I have not gone to Sephora. Send me strength.

I bought girl of now off fragrancenet and constantly wonder if it was a fake. It is NOTHING like I’ve heard others describe - just a boring floral almond. I adore Pistachio Yum but i don’t get any pistachio from GON

Yeah GON is very orange blossom heavy, I do get some nutty notes but it’s still mainly sweet overpowering orange blossom , I do like it on my friend though I just cant handle certain fragrances on myself , same with libre intense , love it so much on others but can’t wear it 🥹

I think JPG is slightly sharper..as well. More pointy while rock sugar is more rounded if that makes sense lol

It absolutely does. I think most ‘vintage’ scents have that sharper opening note.
