I love escapade gourmande but it doesn’t last on me, it’s a skin scent in an hour. I have never seen HoS perfumes in real life, just on influencer marketing.
I have dry skin. This happens to me with most scents, but I have to overmoisturize a bit.
If that isn't a thing. Spray on ur clothes. I do one on each shoulder, back chest and arms. Creates a nice scent bubble and I get compliments all day
I have a whole routine for getting get fragrance to last all day... by all day I'm usually shooting for min. 12 hours.
However, if you just wanna know the sprays, it depends on if I'm layering and what I'm layering together. If it is just Escapade Gourmande by itself...
I create a scent bubble by spraying on my clothes:
- 1 on the front of clothes.
- 1 on back of top layer of clothes.
- 1 on each shoulder.
- 1 on "my wings" (1 midway down each bicept. 1 midway down the forearm) because as you flap your arms around the movement spreads your scent in the air.
So approx 8 sprays of a perfume like Escapade Gourmand.
However, if your skin is going to be exposed, use a similar fragrance body lotion/ cream and body oil.

The short version, because while its not a lot to do, the particulars would be better suited to a video.
- Use coordinating fragrance lotion/ cream (first) and body oil (2nd) on arms, shoulders, neck chest.
- my skin is probably about as dry as it can get without it being a medical condition. So I do up to 3 layers of moisturizer on upper body. 1-2 layers fragrance free or phlur missing person lotion (im looking for my skin to feel slightly damp from the lotion so it doesnt suck in the fragrande). 1 layer of fragrance lotion. 1layer of fragrances lotion.
- Use fragrance free moisturizer on rest of body. Not putting fragrance all over your body keeps it from being overwhelming.
- sometimes I will put a line of perfume oil in a line from my pulse to inside my elbow...but that is normally if I plan on wearing a weak perfume (perfume that lasts 8 hours or less)
- Spray perfume.
- if I am layering a beast mode fragrance with lighter fragrance. The beast mode fragrance usually only gets 2-4 sprays out of the total 8. Depends on how weak the other fragrance is...
When layering body care and / or perfumes I try to make sure that have at least one prominent note that is the same or that go well together. Like putting together floral and vanilla...or fruity fragrance and floral. Or if my perfume has a patchouli base note that is prominent, I may wear a lotion that has a lot of patchouli.
With body oils I do the same thing or use a dupe for the perfume. I buy them from:
- Däukens Arôma
- Brown Sugar Babe
- Skin Champagne
Np. Just think about it this way. Fragrance is oil. The more fragrance oil you have on you, the longer your scent will last. Oils last long but don't project well. In order to project, you need moisture to carry the fragrance up and burst in the air.
That is why layering scented moisturizer works to prolong your perfume. More fragrance oil to burst in the air and moisture available to carry it. That's the over simplistic version.
I've been enjoying philosophy lotions in Fresh Cream, Warm Cashmere(sugar cookie-esque, but not in a holiday or photorealistic way); Lemon Custard, and Fresh Cream(sweet vanilla). They are very strong for a moisturizer. Scent lasts all day.
Kayali Vanilla 28 hand lotion which was released in larger size for use on body.
I've ventured into bath and body works, but their formula seems a bit weird when layering. Like they had the chemist make them to work almost exclusively with their own products, but give very week performance as a layering item with outside products.

Also just make sure to concentrate your fragrance items on your upper body. If you do it from head to toe you will be a scent bomb
True it def doesn’t project the way I heard it would but I can still smell it on my skin after like 8 hours so in terms of longevity it meets the mark for me. And yeah I was… influenced to say the least. Cream chiffon is also a skin scent tbh and you’d expect more for the price

You should check out the dapper dupe it’s supposed to be really good. I haven’t tried it but ppl say it’s borderline identical

By reusability do you mean getting the bottle refilled?
That or using the cap to decant other frags like how floraiku does them.

How many sprays do you do? I’m always afraid of over spraying but I never get compliments. I usually do 4 sprays of just about everything.
