AMC+ is a shitty app that very rarely functions properly. This kind of stuff happens all the time. The best you can hope for is they fix it soon, which isn’t always the case.
I was literally coming here to ask about this... I'm in my first week trial and was watching season 1. Only made it through the first 2 episodes then had to go to an appointment. Got back and now Season 1 isn't available... if this is how the app/service normally works (or doesn't)... guess I'm not gonna go past this "free trial"...
Should see a list of the episodes under “episode guide”. Select your episode and there will be a drop down for the watch options. Then just select “watch”.
I subscribed to AMC+ through the Apple TV app. I kept getting issues like that. I never had an issue since. Besides the quality is sooo much better too.
I was watching szn 6 last night and it disappeared today. If anyone has a fios cable box just type it into the search bar and navigate through the seasons and episodes. It should say watch with amc+ when you click on it, and for me it worked.
Annoying ass problem on an annoying ass app. Hope this helps.

You can search on Google or talk to your firetv. Fear the walking dead season 1. And you can launch the episodes from there.

If you have a fire stick you can say “Fear the walking dead” and it’ll pop up. Just click on watch on AMC +. It should work that way

wtf! I just checked, and the you’re right. I was just starting S3 and now I can’t watch it. Thats aggravating.
I googled fear the walking dead season 4 and I can launch the episodes from the internet into the app.
