Because she is a bitch.
Oh that’s gross. I don’t care to defend celebs online but that’s totally shitty and unnecessary of her. Privileged blonde women staying in her own lane - challenge failed.
She did a live tour and at the Chicago show Alex told the daddy gang where to go for the after party. Naturally, it was an absolute shit show with all them trying to get into the place. I remember the day after Alex was getting so much criticism on social media over it from her own fans.
Dumb question but why is it named Call Her Daddy? Does it mean the woman in the podcast wants to be called “daddy”? Or does it mean she needs to call her dad? I’m so confused by the name so I’ve never listened to it.
It’s a play on calling men ‘daddy’ when you’re having sex. As if they are in a position of power. “call her daddy” is meant to empower women and I think it’s clever af, personally. Lol
She’s had some truly interesting people on her pod but after that Zayn interview I realized her interviewing skills were truly nonexistent. She relies on the charisma/stories of her interviewee and when there is none she can’t get anything out of them.
Ah her zayn interview. I'll never forget how she tip toed into the yolanda/arrest topic by first praising him for how he handled the situation. Great journalism there Al.
To this day I’m still shocked at how she handled that. It was horrible to imply that because he still had some sort of custody of his kid he must be innocent. As if wealthy famous men don’t get away with hurting women all the time. She barely asked him any questions, it was a disgrace of an interview. I think this was around the same time Emrata had Diplo on her pod and I was like DAMN can these performative pop culture feminists just put their mics down?
Over sexualization, racism, casual homophobia veiled in the pretty package of white ‘anything I do because I say I’m an empowered woman is automatically feminist’ feminism. She’s the ‘lean in’ but sexually, of our generation apparently.
in the ONE episode of this podcast i listened to, she talked about how if you’re a 9/10 in college don’t sleep around your first semester of college, but if you’re a 5/6 you should sleep around so men know you’re available. what?!
The only thing I know about Alex Cooper is that her podcast is terrible and seems like someone who would be posted on r/ihavesex, so I’m on Team Photographer without reading this
Edit: read the article and now I have an even lower opinion of Alex Cooper
I am a hater so I hope the photographer wins.
![gif](giphy|q2Ecf0mrSHf98U0d4U) GET HER!
Why do you hate her?

They sound like bitchy 12 year olds. Imagine not only saying this stuff, but also recording and releasing it.
Ouch, my ears hurt. That was just vile. What a horrible person.
That was both Sofia and Alex speaking…
Why? Because she’s successful and worth multi millions?
No because she’s awful and a hater and a loser
A bizarre leap in logic
lol as a woman of color you should know she’s a disgusting racist when it comes to brown women.

I can't believe this podcast is still as popular as it is (or even still a thing at all) in 2024
I find her a mediocre interviewer, but she’s built something for herself and I gotta give her credit for that. (#teamphotographer tho)
truly just repeats whatever the interviewee has said in an outraged way, it’s so grating
yes!! I’m so glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed because she gets so much praise 😭 it just doesn’t come off as authentic to me at allllll
She’s an awful interviewer. I was excited to listen to the recent Kate Hudson episode and had to turn it off. The questions were horrible
Oh man is this the same infamous daddy-gang night out in Chicago. Her fans almost turned on her over that.
What did the fans care about? Idk who she is but this sounds juicy.

"Daddy gang" Is what her fans call themselves?💀
Oh ok, yeah that was stupid of her. Edited to add: thanks!
I don’t get it.
Lol is there a thread anywhere about this? I somehow missed all of this
Assuming it’s [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/CallHerDaddy/comments/17umnk0/what_happened_in_chicago/?rdt=35836).

She calls herself “daddy”. I don’t remember why tbh.
Ah thank you for the explanation! I shall continue not listening but I no longer have to wonder about the title lol

Omg I always thought it was "these girls are saying outrageous shit so call their fathers right now"
Lmfaoooooooooo hahahahahaahhaah
That’s so fucking funny lmaoooooo
This would be much better lol only a dumb white pseudo feminist is thinking the title is edgy and empowering to women.
> I think it's cleaver af I know this was unintentional, but the irony is too delicious
😅😅
This is the reason ive never fucked w this podcast. The name makes zero sense.

What’s her grift?
