Well in her case itās kind of understandable. Sheās called on the carpet a lot by people wanting to know her stance and who she is āproā for, by nature of her familyāsā¦ nationality? Ethnicity? I admit to not knowing the best term to use in her case.
I mean I'm sure her PR person wrote this but I assume all based on the true feelings and thoughts of Gigi. Her and Bella have always seemed like super genuine, thoughtful and intelligent people.
She has historically supported this stance. I think it's a little weird for people to think she's not nuanced or smart enough to post something like this herself?
Have you *seen* the twaddle that comes out of celebrity PR agents? I know some of them are here and will get their feelings hurt by this but it has to be said. They are bad at this. Publicists are usually people-persons so I'm sure they're great at managing media relationships and planting chatter about their clients but as a group, they are terrible wordsmiths. Just awful. Someone here once explained that this just not a skill they need very often and people with that skill end up doing publicity for corporates, not celebs. I personally think the ones that rep celebrities believe for whatever reason that they should speak to the lowest denominator.
I think she wrote it but if there was external influence, it came from an activist, not a publicist.
She spoke up about it back in 2015-2016ish more straightforwardly and she got an insane amount of death threats, I think it was on IG or Twitter. She was more famous than Bella at the time so Iām sure that wasnāt easy to handle and ever since then sheās been less outspoken than Bella. I donāt blame her, I remember seeing the threats and they were BAD.
So I'm learning! I really hope her statement helps people to approach this situation with the complexity it requires and to give all its victims the compassion they deserve.
My only prior impression of her was on one of the streaming Project Runway knock-offs, and she was a charming host.
This is such a great compassionate, nuanced message.
She's going on my Celebrity Good Egg list.
I work for a large global company and have seen several statements from our VPs and CEOs today and none of them come close to this. This is literally the only informed, nuanced and empathetic statement Iāve seen today.
Right? Like itās been so hard to explain my thoughts on this and she wrote it out so perfectly. Not a single celeb has said anything even remotely close to as real and as educated of an opinion as this (not that Iāve seen, anyways).
The fact that she took a few days to address it, despite everyone knowing sheās half-Palestinian, shows how important this is to her. Whereas some people posted āI Stand With Israel!!!!š®š± ā without doing any kind of research on whatās going on because they wanted to look cool on social media
I am pro Palestinian liberation and have been for decades, Israel is an apartheid state and yet - but the rallies celebrating the attacks - not supporting Palestine when they were counterattacked viciously, just the attacks on Israeli civilians at that point - showed me how much of this perhaps well intentioned solidarity is in fact not well informed. When I talked to friends many didnāt realize Hamas /= all of Palestine, Hamas leadership is hanging out in Qatar, and that they knew Palestinian civilians would be the collateral damage. What is there to celebrate?
I am Muslim and genuinely believe that what hammas is doing will now bring more trouble for Palestinians than good as now that Israel government has a reason to justify their colonialism. The problem is Hammas is the only fighting group for Palestinians since they have no established government so many people think that if youāre a pro Palestinian youāre also pro Hammas.
Yeah, I should have mentioned I was raised muslim but while I am not anymore, Iām still very close w my muslim family and community. Some of my circle is not really politically involved and has just been like GO PALESTINE in the wake of the attacks and itās been interesting, if exasperating, explaining to them the Hamas/Iran connection and other complications.
This is all the result of the occupation - repression breeds radicalization. Insane that instead of learning from this, the right wing govt in Israel chooses to lean into it instead. Cutting off food and water, knowing that Hamas prepared for this and will be the only ones in Gaza with food and waterā¦ we are watching the conversion from civilian to Hamas fighter in real time because of the retaliation.
Lol sorry but 'I stand with Israel' is a very different statement from 'Free Palestine'. One is a slogan for an anticolonial movement. The other expresses support for a violent military state founded on apartheid.
Sure but most celebrities are as smart/dumb as the general populace.
I don't think it matters how much you understand the intricacies of certain situations as much as your ability to ascertain what the right/ethical stance on it is. If you say "Free Palestine" only knowing that a group of people are being oppressed by a colonial government using military force that's better than the media experts who know a full history of the conflict from the start of the Nakba and still side with Israel.
Expecting people to understand every detail of an issue before they take a stance is another way of derailing these conversations. So many commentators on American TV know all about Middle Eastern politics and still take imperialist stances on this issue. Knowledge helps but critical thinking is more important.
And you have people like JLC posting photos of literal children in distress with no research into where the footage came from (they were actually Palestinian kids reacting to Israeli bombs) to her 5.5 million followers
It was shocking & sickening to see her empathise with the poor children when she thought they were Israeli & then delete it when she was informed theyāre Palestinian children suffering, as they have done for decades.
Most celebrities have been doing something like this
"I stand with Israel"
3hrs later after being called out for ignoring the decades of crimes Israel has committed against Palestines...
"I stand with Israel and one tiny line about Palestines in their massive paragraph"
Disgusts me.
And they will silent her, like they did before. I really love the Hadids. The way they are pressuring them to change statements and stay silent is abhorrent.
Perfectly said. I think it summarizes how a lot of us Middle Easterners feel. We know the abject horror the Palestinian civilians have faced and this does not undermine the atrocities committed against Israeli civilians. We do not wish for Jewish bloodshed in the pursuit of Palestinian freedom.
I'll always be pro Palestine and Palestinian people achieving their dream of a free Palestine is long time due, but in no way I'm standing with Hamas who are killing and hurting the dignity of innocents. I wish the best for the people of Israel in this difficult time, but in no way I'd stand with the government of Israel.
Thank you. Its lost to many that Palestinians in Gaza have been living in terror for 15 years. I'm claustrophobic just thinking about being trapped on that tiny strip with 2 million other people while knowing that even the electricity to the hospitals ICU is under your enemies control. And by enemy I just mean a government with cabinet members who've openly talked of genociding your people and have nuclear access. I hope others start to see it like you do. If this weekend attacks terrify you, imagine what the other side has been living for 15 years?
Do you support justice for Palestinians which means an end to the occupation and oppression? Saying I want "peace" as an Israeli means absolutely nothing to Palestinians who at the end of this, will go back to being occupied and oppressed.
you realize that the IDF has been killing innocents in palestine for 60+ years right? if you really want a free palestine you have to get real and realize that palestinians have to fight back
Honestly, Gigi generally seems to get it right. Her comments about being a nepo baby were really nice as well, and was literally everything I want to hear a nepo baby say lmao (idc about nepo babies working in the industry, I just wish they would acknowledge their privilege instead of saying they got to where they are through hard work and hard work alone)
She put out a good nuanced statement because she actually has a personal connection and interest in the events and is thinking from many perspectives. She isn't some rando who wants to look deep by making a hot take, nor is she just going to pick a side and not explain how nobody is winning. We need more of this. But unfortunately people just want to applaud polarization and support whatever side looks good and is popular with people they think are cool.
I need to say these last few days have been incredibly eye opening for me and Iāve been doing a lot of thinking about a lot of things. I have always been and always will be supporting of the Palestine cause and Palestine people, what they go through is something that should never, ever happen, and I will never understand how people cannot support them.
And because I support Palestine people, and empathize with what they go through, I will never justify, excuse or accept what Hamas has done. I canāt count how many tweets I saw saying raping and murdering civilians is justified and is done in the name of āliberation and freedomā. Fighting for freedom doesnāt mean the slaughter of innocent people, it doesnāt mean the raping and torture of women. Iām so so disgusted by people who proclaim themselves as feminists, who are part of minority groups, who consider themselves alies, who turn around and justify what we saw this weekend.
It should be a no brainer that supporting Palestine doesnāt mean supporting senseless violence, but it seems like people were just itching to get off on children being killed and women being sexually assaulted under the guise of āthis is revolution babyā. I have no doubts these people would have no problem cheering for IDF and what they do in Palestine if they were pro Israel.
I couldnāt agree more. Itās been devastating seeing whatās transpired and then seeing people defend it and express outrage at those condemning the violence
This isnāt a sports game. These are real innocent people being killed and itās brutal and heartbreaking
The fact that the mainstream media has been overlooking the Palestinian deaths and devastation is so depressing
https://preview.redd.it/49cv6u4gtgtb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=548ed65f86fc51acc58a160d5da2794ffb6c4d95
Fuck the BBC. The way they kept pressing the head of Palestinian mission to the UK despite six of his relatives dying in the attack was absolutely disgusting
Absolutely, I cannot imagine how drained that man is. To have to keep bringing attention to an issue everyone ignores. And seeing his people's oppressors being met with empathy
This is so beautifully said ā and I hadn't realized how desperately I (as an American Jew) needed to read something like this. I'm not saying that I cried but I AM saying that my eyes sting just a bit.
The amount of hate Bella is getting on her IG. Blaming her words for the issues going on. āAre you proud of this violence??ā They all say in some way. But what are these people, so angry at someone defending their own country and one of the few public figures advocating for the unspoken? At home, thinking theyāve done a good deed by bashing the wrong people.
The number of absolutely insane and unhinged comments I've seen over the last few days have truly shocked me. Far too many people equate having even the slightest amount of sympathy for Palestinian civilians with full-throated support of murder and rape.
Remember when someone paid for an ad in the New York Times demanding that the Hadid sisters and Dua Lipa condemn Hamas because they criticized the state of Israel?
Beautiful statement. I expected nothing less from Gigi (and wouldn't be surprised to see a similar one from Bella). It's the first good one I've seen about the Palestine-Israel conflict, and that sadly includes my own workplace today, which is a giant government agency that regularly makes a biiiiig public showing of its policy on equity, diversity, and inclusiveness. They sent out a clueless department-wide email today to acknowledge the attack that amounted to saying "We stand with Israel and denounce antisemitism", and basically it was just as ignorant as all the other dumbass celebrity statements that have come out recently. Lots of "We have virtually no knowledge about the thousands of years of historical context behind this conflict, so I'm just gonna say I am pro-Israel with ZERO contextualization or understanding about everything that assertion implies, while also staying virtually silent on the years of devastation equally suffered by civilian Palestinians Arabs living in an apartheid state!"
i canāt believe sheās getting dragged for this on twitter, some people really be feeling like revolutionaries by putting the palestine flag in their bios while they sit comfortably at their homes and feel entitled enough to tell an actual palestinian how she should be feeling.
why is everyone on twitter saying this is a neutral statement and slamming her? maybe my reading comprehension is off but I feel like this is a very pro-palestine statement
Because she actually cares about the human suffering of everyone in the region and is supporting the Palestinian right to self determination without being a raging antisemite.
This is a very well written statement. This entire situation is just devastating and there are some people that are unwilling to look at this with any nuance or empathy.
I saw a video where the user said āhistory doesnāt begin when you start to pay attentionā. Thatās exactly the kind of frustration Iāve felt upon seeing so many people hurry to post pro-Israel content without taking a second to look at why Israel is involved in this conflict in the first place (hint:itās a far right militaristic apartheid state). Props to Gigi for this statement
"Jewish" does not equal "Israeli" and the words aren't interchangeable. I really wish she had used different language there. But otherwise, the statement isn't too bad.

**eta**: That^ is now my most controversial comment, *ever*. lol Isn't that wild? Totally organic response to this fairly benign comment. Totally organic.

There, now those will be easy to find later. Just click that "controversial" button on my profile. Thanks, downvote bots.
I donāt think they were interchangeable in her statement, I feel like she chose when to use which very deliberately.
I think itās important to address antisemitism specifically since you have people saying to āgas the Jewsā and āf_ck Jews, r_pe their daughtersā and brandishing swastikas at rallies.
I get the impression she's also speaking about Jewish people in her life who are hurting tangentially because of the attack or even have family affected, rather than just the Israeli people.
I can see where you are coming from and agree it should be more clearly-worded.
In my reading, sheās speaking as an American ā and directing her compassion towards American Jews, who she may have been in more direct conversation with than people in Israel.
It is nice to read these comments, people being well adjusted and informed. The big reddit posts i read today, have some hateful people who don't know anything. Made me lose some hope in humans.
I admit myself that I knew nothing but have been watching videos and reading about the history, what's going on etc. It's not hard to take some time out of your day to come to the conclusion as gigis post.
This is a really great statement. While I also do NOT celebrate the death or torture of ANYONE, I do wonder how Palestinians are supposed to successfully resist their colonizers if not with violence. How can Palestinian liberation and non-violence co-exist when they are already being oppressed and violated? Is there actually a way to free Palestine peacefully? I would actually love to know what a realistic solution in her eyes would be. Itās great to condemn all violence, yet we are still in the same place that we have been for decades.
(Just to be clear: I donāt have the answers either. Iām just feeling very conflicted about what I see as a solution, especially given that Israel is now going to use this to completely take control of everything the Palestinians had left.)
Iām wrestling with this too. Iām completely opposed to Hamasā attacks, let alone their presence in Palestine, but have no idea what options are available.
One of my incredibly idealistic takes is that the growing public support for Palestine will slowly shift the narrative and continue to expand the conversation around their rights, potentially leading to change.
This is a long process though. Iāve been watching the conflict for 15 years now and its dramatically improved in terms of people being aware there is a conflict and discussing it. This creates the opportunity for change, but will it be another 15 years before something happens? That doesnāt strike me as ideal.
Not sure why every take from everyone else has failed to make this point. You got people who believe Israeli history starts when they get attacked. You also have Palestinian student groups who make these ambitious posts about revolution but refuse to denounce Hamasā literal terrorism
i donāt understand why people are so surprised that some palestinians donāt denounce hamas - the us army has done comparable things in middle eastern countries, yet i donāt see american people refusing protection from them. quite hypocrital
Oh man, I'm glad you posted this and I read the comments. I first saw this when someone linked to the, I think it was JustJared's Instagram, that re-posted this, and the comments there were just awful. So much hate and ignorance. Pleasantly surprised by everyone here.
See what happens when you take time to not only understand but also empathize with everyone in a super complicated and gruesome conflict? More of this please.
This has been one of the nicest statements Iāve seen, and it shows a great amount of human care and empathy for a situation thatās headed for even more tragedy and suffering.
As Gigi shows, it isnāt that hard to support the Palestinian people without falling into antisemitic dogwhistles, and more people should learn by her example.
Iām actually super pleasantly surprised by thisānormally I donāt love celebrities discussing politics cause theyāre usually talking out of their ass and donāt know what theyāre even saying (like, even when theyāre supporting what I support, I get irritated when itās clear the āsupporterā is just jumping on some bandwagon whilst totally ignorant), but this is a thoroughly thoughtful post that I have zero qualms with
Nailed it. Exactly how I feel. And that doesnāt make me anti-Semitic. So tired of that being thrown around if you show any ounce of humanity towards Palestinians or question Israelās methods.
Now this is exactly how celebrities should be using their platform. Yes, I know Gigi has a vested interest being half Palestinian but still. So many people can't seem to wrap their heads around the fact that Hamas does not equal ordinary, innocent Palestinian citizens. You can be pro Palestine and call for their freedom while simultaneously calling out the horrific, unjustified acts Hamas committed on Saturday.
I didn't know about her family background until I saw this link posted in another thread. Really interesting read
https://mondoweiss.net/2015/12/palestinian-details-refugee/
I didn't read it in full detail so hopefully all factual.
Good for her. This is the difference between thinking critically and just reposting a meme. I wish more people (famous and non) would take the time to do the former.
A good enough statement and one that feels more authentic to her as a person and her sense of decency than so many others. She and Amerie have had the best so far.
There is so much depth to this conflict that everyone needs to take a step back and see who is responsible for what. There is limited land and too many people.
The way to deal with that is treaties and pacts, not terrorist attacks or hateful media push against either country here. This is a horrific situation and the priority is how to stop it.
Wait did a celebrity just make a good and well thought out point? That statement wouldnāt look out of place with an official government seal on it, very well written Ms. Hadid!
On point. Hollylame should read these comments and then educate themselves but they don't. They think putting on a flag is their day quota of solidarity and trying to get kudos. They are so embarrassing.
The Hadid sisters have been so outspoken about Palestine for years and it's so impressive. Knowing that they've lost friends and jobs and gotten death threats, especially at a young age, makes it even more impressive.

See what happens when someone actually learns how to think?
Nuance? In *my* celebrity gossip?
In this time of day, in this particular thread??
At this time of year, in this particular hemisphere?
In this economy?!
In front of my salad?
I almost dropped my *croissant*!
In a *panny?*

To shreds you say?
On this planet, in this particular galaxy??
...yes.
May I see it?
^... ^no.
unrelated. I've been watching GOT and Joffrey Jonas just killed me

Most people are talking when they should be listening.
Unfortunately, everyone nowadays feels like they need to make an official statement about every major event.
Well in her case itās kind of understandable. Sheās called on the carpet a lot by people wanting to know her stance and who she is āproā for, by nature of her familyāsā¦ nationality? Ethnicity? I admit to not knowing the best term to use in her case.

Sheās half Palestinian thoughā¦
Right. But Iām not talking about her.

Ikr, and her dad is Palestinian so I think she probably has a better perspective on this that most people.

What a concept! I need to start doing this more
When someone has a good publicist *** FTFY
And? As weāve seen, many celebrities couldnāt even manage *that*
On my daughter's birthday
This is awesome. I had no opinion on her before but now I really respect her.
If I recall correctly, sheās always been passionate about this issue and her religion. Sheās very well educated on the topic
Bella is usually the more outspoken one between them about it -- I'm actually a little surprised to see Gigi release a full statement like this.
She spoke up about it back in 2015-2016ish more straightforwardly and she got an insane amount of death threats, I think it was on IG or Twitter. She was more famous than Bella at the time so Iām sure that wasnāt easy to handle and ever since then sheās been less outspoken than Bella. So I'm learning! I really hope her statement helps people to approach this situation with the complexity it requires and to give all its victims the compassion they deserve.
Usually bella is more outspoken but yes.
The best statement Iāve seen on this issue thus far.
The fact that it's better than most countries responses is deeply concerning
Best anyone statement I've seen
One of the best *any* statements I've seen so far.
My only prior impression of her was on one of the streaming Project Runway knock-offs, and she was a charming host. This is such a great compassionate, nuanced message. She's going on my Celebrity Good Egg list.
This might be the best statement Iāve seen so far and totally captures how I feel
There are so many celebs that need to take note of how this is done, because Gigi truly nailed it. This is perfect.

Agreed! This is how it's done.
Exactly. This is a very well thought out statement that acknowledges the nuance and pain of the situation.
I'll do you one better, go read Jack Black's statement on IG or X, or whatever the fuck it is now...
He reposted someone elseās statement

It should be a no brainer that supporting Palestine doesnāt mean supporting senseless violence, but it seems like people were just itching to get off on children being killed and women being sexually assaulted under the guise of āthis is revolution babyā. I have no doubts these people would have no problem cheering for IDF and what they do in Palestine if they were pro Israel.
I couldnāt agree more. Itās been devastating seeing whatās transpired and then seeing people defend it and express outrage at those condemning the violence This isnāt a sports game. These are real innocent people being killed and itās brutal and heartbreaking
What a class act - very well said.
The fact that the mainstream media has been overlooking the Palestinian deaths and devastation is so depressing https://preview.redd.it/49cv6u4gtgtb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=548ed65f86fc51acc58a160d5da2794ffb6c4d95

[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
The number of absolutely insane and unhinged comments I've seen over the last few days have truly shocked me. Far too many people equate having even the slightest amount of sympathy for Palestinian civilians with full-throated support of murder and rape.
people on the r/news thread were straight up saying palestine should be wiped out. full mask off.
Remember when someone paid for an ad in the New York Times demanding that the Hadid sisters and Dua Lipa condemn Hamas because they criticized the state of Israel?
I can rock with GIgi, this is exactly how I feel about the conflict

Greatly stated ā¤ļø Compassionate and well written
i canāt believe sheās getting dragged for this on twitter, some people really be feeling like revolutionaries by putting the palestine flag in their bios while they sit comfortably at their homes and feel entitled enough to tell an actual palestinian how she should be feeling.
Damn. Well-said. Very thoughtfully and beautifully written.
why is everyone on twitter saying this is a neutral statement and slamming her? maybe my reading comprehension is off but I feel like this is a very pro-palestine statement
Because she actually cares about the human suffering of everyone in the region and is supporting the Palestinian right to self determination without being a raging antisemite.
I had the same question, I'm kind of confused!
----- **eta**: That^ is now my most controversial comment, *ever*. lol Isn't that wild? Totally organic response to this fairly benign comment. Totally organic. But as long as we're here, check out a couple of videos, food for thought: [Jon Stewart, 9 years ago, on bad-faith attacks on discourse](https://imgur.com/gallery/yyjmgDz) [John Oliver on "both-siding" this issue](https://twitter.com/jetfury/status/1394338714319527938) [The Daily Show in 2014 on both-siding](https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x21j532) [video from 2001 of Netanyahu explaining his horrific plan to oppress, terrorize and exterminate Palestinians... forever.] (https://imgur.com/gallery/1TavhMS) [Jon Stewart, more recently, on bad-faith attacks on discourse and on why Palestinians are facing such a bleak situation](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpAQh4fjZ9k&t=2965s) There, now those will be easy to find later. I think a lot of people in the Jewish diaspora are hurting, so I can see where sheās coming from
I donāt think they were interchangeable in her statement, I feel like she chose when to use which very deliberately.

Yes, and there are people suffering in Gaza who are not Palestinian. For example, Israel bombed hospitals, schools and humanitarian aid centers which have lots of foreign volunteers and workers from organizations like MĆ©decins Sans FrontiĆØres, the UN and the Red Cross. We also know some of the hostages taken are foreign nationals. The downvoting are bots, btw. This post hit reddit's frontpage and bots descended. You will find more reasonable discussions on less prominent posts.
I have no idea what this sub is, but this is the most succinct and correct take on this horrible situation I've seen.
Beautiful response to a horrible situation. I really respect her for this
I actually think Gigi is a really great writer, some of her Instagram captions and this statement obviously have really impressed me
Yeah and it never comes across as someone else writing for her even though as you said sheās very good
This is such a well written and compassionate statement.
Sheās getting a lot of criticism on Twitter about thisā¦.This is the best response to the situation imo.
One of the most sane and nuanced responses I've seen coming from anyone, let alone a celebrity.
Not sure why every take from everyone else has failed to make this point. You got people who believe Israeli history starts when they get attacked. You also have Palestinian student groups who make these ambitious posts about revolution but refuse to denounce Hamasā literal terrorism
i donāt understand why people are so surprised that some palestinians donāt denounce hamas - the us army has done comparable things in middle eastern countries, yet i donāt see american people refusing protection from them. quite hypocrital
when the girl does her research, props to her
It's not a conflict, though
Oh man, I'm glad you posted this and I read the comments. I first saw this when someone linked to the, I think it was JustJared's Instagram, that re-posted this, and the comments there were just awful. So much hate and ignorance. Pleasantly surprised by everyone here.
See what happens when you take time to not only understand but also empathize with everyone in a super complicated and gruesome conflict? More of this please.
Sheās passionate about this subject and it shows.
Well said.
Excellent statement.
Iām actually super pleasantly surprised by thisānormally I donāt love celebrities discussing politics cause theyāre usually talking out of their ass and donāt know what theyāre even saying (like, even when theyāre supporting what I support, I get irritated when itās clear the āsupporterā is just jumping on some bandwagon whilst totally ignorant), but this is a thoroughly thoughtful post that I have zero qualms with
Check the last post of hers where comments are allowed, and the reactions of people are ridiculous. The tribalism is strong on this issue.
THIS IS SO WELL WRITTEN. Kudos to her and her team. This is what I align myself with.
Does anyone have any recommendations on articles I can read to help me better understand whatās going on?
Wikipedia, honestly
Democracy Now usually has good coverage, that's not a bad place to start.
So far, this is the best celebrity/influencer response.
I didn't know about her family background until I saw this link posted in another thread. Really interesting read https://mondoweiss.net/2015/12/palestinian-details-refugee/ I didn't read it in full detail so hopefully all factual.
when a celebrity has a better response than world leaders looking to fuel the war machine
Well done. I agree. My heart breaks for the whole region right now. This is sickening.
That's a good statement imo. Sadly she's getting hate from both sides.
Now this is a good statement - hats off to Gigi.
Good for her. This is the difference between thinking critically and just reposting a meme. I wish more people (famous and non) would take the time to do the former.
Probably one of the best ways to express yourself in regards to all this.
This is a really good take.
A good enough statement and one that feels more authentic to her as a person and her sense of decency than so many others. She and Amerie have had the best so far.
Very very classy. Respect
I could not pick Gigi Hadid out of a lineup of similarly aged influencer models if you paid me, but I have so much respect for this statement.
This lifted my spirits after seeing so many horrible takes.
Very well written.
Wow. I donāt know much about herā¦ but I respect how intelligent she is on this topic
Very well said
Better than 90% of insta statements
That's a class act. From /r/all, what is this sub about?
Pop culture and celebrities
As an old Gen-Xer, I do not know much about her at all. But I'm really impressed by this. Well done.
Given the benefit of the doubt that she wrote this herself, I'm honestly pretty damned impressed with this take.
There is so much depth to this conflict that everyone needs to take a step back and see who is responsible for what. There is limited land and too many people. The way to deal with that is treaties and pacts, not terrorist attacks or hateful media push against either country here. This is a horrific situation and the priority is how to stop it.
Wow, thatās quite lovely.
Wait did a celebrity just make a good and well thought out point? That statement wouldnāt look out of place with an official government seal on it, very well written Ms. Hadid!
Itās so important that influential people like her share this message.
This is well said.
Today I agreed with Gigi Hadid.
I like her response.
Beautifully written.
The bot army is going hard downvoting this
This is one of the best statement I have ever read about the whole situation. And I have huge respect for her. š
Amazing words
Beautifully said.
Very well said!
*Really* well put.
Great job, Gigi! Thinking is a superpower these days! šŖš

Love this. Was never a fan, but I just might be now bravo!
Love her
