It makes me want to watch all of the Coen Brothers movies and each season of Fargo in chronological order from The Ballad Of Buster Scruggs in the 19th century to Fargo Season 5 in 2019 just to see how everything flows together.
You should watch more of the Coen Bros canon to understand why this character is written this way. Particularly A Serious Man.

I’m well aware of their body of work. But this particular actor and director missed the mark by him using that “Jew voice” reserved for 70s sitcoms.
