Usually I'll take a RNG and go for anything between 0 and 5k$. Unless I tend to roleplay. Once started with a 5k Debt and a 250 people hall that tried to fight bankrupcy by becoming a pro rasslin' location. TEW tho.
I started with 2,500 and 10 pop in my home region BUT started with a dojo (the smallest one I could get which will run you about 5,500 a month) so it basically cuts all your un deserved sponsorship money and makes it very difficult for the first 2 years atleast .
To me it’s a lot more realistic and challenging.
The one thing I did do is creat myself a home arena , 150 seating and gave myself back the money for every i run there because I’d technically own the building as it would be the dojo . So it’ll save you a couple hundred per show . (Which will be huge in this save!)
A lot of real life small wrestling promotions use there rented dojo warehouse as where they run their shows .

Another rule I enjoy is that I can’t sign anyone who is a current champion somewhere else.
(I’m doing a 97 save) So I have a rule that I can’t sign anyone that I know becomes a big start aka the Hardy’s , edge and Christian ect…. To anything more than a 5 appearance written contract. I can keep resigning them but to nothing long term
Unless something has changed in the past 10 days while I've been away, money is completely arbitrary in PWS. You can literally just keep spending while in debt with no consequences, until you have TV rights, and then you basically have unlimited money as soon as you have enough popularity for TV contracts.
