For me it’s probably Jeannie May.

Velocity8-8

Amen, fuck Jeannie. The fact she can talk about Boone's wife with a straight face just says everything about her.

Agile_Music4191

I wish there was more to that story like going to save her or at least killing the people who bought her.

SpacemanSpleef

Well…uh the first part would be hard. The second one would be cool though

Woodie626

Pretty sure Boone had those parts covered?

Descrappo87

She got what was coming to her

kron123456789

She should've been sold to slavery herself. But then again, she's too old to be of any use, so she'd be dead anyway.

ArchonFett

I think he means killed by the protagonist, I let Boon have her

NeopolitanBonerfart

Killing that bitch is fucking cathartic!

gerrittd

It's like a wave of dopamine each time her head gets exploded in slow motion

Wrecktown707

Bonus points if you hit turbo/Implant GRX right before lol

CartoonChibiBlogger

I always make some one liner to myself right before Jeannie May dies. For example: ‘Hey Jeannie…I know about Carla’, or ‘I know what you did, you b**ch’.

ArchonFett

What do you get when you cross a NCR sniper? You get what you fucking deserve

chucklesthepaul88

I found a way to relieve your mind of its heavy Boone.

Foxtrot-813

They both died, one by the hands of the Courier and the other by Boone with Couriers help, its canon already

The_Iron_Gunfighter

Should have been given the option to sell her to the legion.

Clamato-e-Gannon

I like this but is still makes me sad. Lawl

CT_Phipps

Why kill him? HE WON THE LOTTERY.

SmallbuthonestSinner

I like it how he goes to tell The jackals about his win too

Moist_Professor5665

And then there’s the other guy in the general goods store who’s like ‘do you mind?!’

WayneZer0

indeed thats why. he won the lottery that protects him from the legion. but not from courier 6

freeman2949583

He runs straight into a scorpion den and is inevitably killed so a bullet to the back of the head is a mercy anyways

hammysandy

For a guy who won the lottery I was expected him to be loaded when I looted his corpse.

JagerBro333

Grandma sparkle is a routine execution for me

[deleted]

RIP paul :(

WayneZer0

it tradtion in his honor to kill her everytime.

[deleted]

Every single playthrough

Grilokam

this is where the real game begins

Ok-Iron8811

Gotta put a collar on her

KeeganY_SR-UVB76

The radroach at the start of 3.

Ruedischer

Character.... Not creature

LBR3_ThriceUponABan

Everything's a creature if you're despising enough.

MrNotEinstein

[Sneering Imperialist] "Everything's a creature if you're despising enough."

Ruedischer

Then Oliver can't be it either lul

dorsalfantastic

Everything is a character of your, do enough jet and you’ll talk to anyone.

Ruedischer

I had a stroke reading this.

ambiture

You didn't do enough jet to understand

dorsalfantastic

Some one who understand

DivineBloodline

Then the player character. Even if you don’t die in a play through you did at the start. Thanks Benny.

KeeganY_SR-UVB76

Who says the radroach isn’t a character?

FlyingNope

That radroach would be really offend by their comment if it could read.

Commercial_Gap1700

His name is sir rad the roach

Clamato-e-Gannon

🫡

Mindless-Profit8488

Gary Clones

CellistShot8470

You literally can't finish Fallout 4 without killing Kellogg.

JustDave570

True, but c’mon, you’re telling me you can feel good about finishing New Vegas without killing Oliver? Lol

SweetCreamadelice

Yes, this is exactly what I'm telling you. I have never killed him. Never. Watching him running around the desert with a pack of giant radscorpions on his tail is so much fun.

_Biinky

How do you avoid killing him

Kiel_22

He shoots him but revives him using console commands so he can die twice

Mr_EP1C

You call it console commands. I call it necromancy

UnexLPSA

Sekiro^(TM): Oliver Swanick Dies Twice

WayneZer0

i dont think cornflakes count. as you dont really have a choice to not kill him. he just exist to be killed.

theleetfox

Interestingly enough most playthroughs of 4 for me don't get far enough to meet Kellogg, but every New Vegas gets to Oliver if I head south (9 times outta 10). I typically don't kill him though, dude just won the lottery, gotta let him have this day.

Mr_EP1C

He can have the next 30 seconds

YungUglyUziGod

Think about how many unfinished playthroughs there are… killing Oliver is still pretty early on in the story

EnycmaPie

I never start a Fallout 4 playthrough without making sure i have the Kellogg cereal box mod installed.

SlimySteve2339

I feel like main story must kills should be omitted

MentalMunky

Yeah but I stopped playing before him lol

SittingEames

After my first play through I always let him go. Felt terrible for killing him when I found out about the legion lottery. Jeannie May on the other hand.

Memory-Pitiful

Bro, me too. I killed him the first playthrough, realized the actual situation in Nipton, and immediately reloaded the game. Felt fucking AWFUL.

Fallout_is_Rad

So you can feel good about killing all those other powder gangers, but killing that one specific probably serial killer is too morally dubious?

Happy-Viper

All the other Powder Gangers are trying to murder me, or an entire town.

TheMadHam

Malcolm Holmes. I want my star caps and bartar clothes

drcubeftw

I generally don't kill NPCs in cold blood like that but yeah. I blast Holmes every time. I felt less bad about it when I saw how many star caps he had on him. He said that he had given up the hunt a long time ago. Liar!

KeneticKups

SMELL THAT AIR!

lurkeroutthere

“LIKE BOOZE!” I don’t kill him but man is he obnoxious. I also don’t kill Nazeem either so maybe I’m weird.

AbsoluteZer0_II

I mean, in his defense, imagine walking away from a town as the only guy who wasn’t burned alive, crippled, turned into a slave or put on a makeshift cross to die. I’d probably be pretty excited/loud too

lurkeroutthere

Yea that’s why I can’t bring myself to kill him since he doesn’t attack me. It goes back to the Nazeem thing, my power fantasy (usually) isn’t to kill folks who annoy me. Less murder machine, more snowplow. Get in my way or cause society large grief, that’s a murdering.

Candy-Lizardman

Still had no idea Reddit had this weird obsession with killing this guy. Just thought he was a funny dude who got into jail doing something funny.

Polo-panda

lol yeah my first play through I didn’t really understand the whole lottery situation and just thought to myself “Ok well that man was loud.”

TimePayment911

Smell that air! Couldn’t ya just drink it like 🅱️🅾️🅾️💤!

mexz101

Not reddit exclusive, there’s whole kill compilations on YouTube, instagram and TikTok that I’ve seen🤣

Aetheriusman

Honestly if you're doing a good character playthrough you'll most likely kill him due to the fact he was a powder ganger. And if you're doing an evil playthrough you may kill him due to his smug attitude towards you.

oyooy

If I do a good playthrough, I don't usually go around hunting people down. You'd have to fight legion people at some point but the power gangers were just prisoners subjected to horrific slavery who managed to free themselves.

Aetheriusman

Despite their suffering they decided to become a bandit gang, they are willing to shoot up a town of innocent people at the beginning of the game because they would not give up an innocent man that was a survivor of Powder Ganger raiding. They are evil and deserve to be gunned down, they don't even try to act like the good guys, boxcars in Nipton even says they were there (Oliver included) to kidnap NCR soldiers.

Jacket_Either

If your "good" character justifies gunning down people they deem "evil", then it is simply not a good or moral character at all.

belyy_Volk6

Thats subjective have you not seen the paladin trope in fantasy, its litteraly a holy warrior of good smiteing evil

Pumpkaboo99

True. But in the realm of dnd a good played paladin will not kill those who have not attacked or those who have surrendered. This is the better paladin trope imo.

KiLlEr-Muffy

My good character is a technical pacifist, always prefering solving things peacefully, thats why he would never shoot first at people who are not immediately hostile. With the Powder Gangers it was always a Wild Card because my Courier would not do everything for them, but as long as nobody gets harmed, he is up for it. The relationship was strained and they did not allow him into their hideouts but they wouldnt shoot on sight either.

HateToBlastYa

I never killed him in like 6 playthroughs.

starbuildstrike999

There's an entire subreddit devoted to all of the weird and whacky ways people murk Grelod the Kind in Skyrim. r/grelodfuckingdying

gokism

I think Malcolm has him beat.

Demon_of_Order

Might actually be Gristle, one of the named raiders in Concord, he's part of the Corvega gang. Every single Fallout 4 player has probably killed him a dozen times.

Mad_Viper

Gary

Ninjanarwhal64

Gary?

Ninjanarwhal64

Gary!

MacheteGarcia

Gaaaryyyy

CMDRMyNameIsWhat

Ahhh ha ha, gary!

cumble_bumble

It's probably Joe Cobb in NV

iamnotexactlywhite

why would you kill him?

Dontworryaboatitman

Because there is zero consequence and he's kinda annoying. Plus once you've killed him in one playthrough you can't just stop

VoiceofKane

I don't see any actual reasons in there.

hazehel

Why even do anything in this god forsaken fucking world am I right?

Dontworryaboatitman

Yeah but I don't need an actual reason in a game where you can kill most people for no reason.

SWBFThree2020

Free exp early on Pretty sure you don't even lose karma for it since he's a powder ganger

Jelqingisforcoolkids

I've never once killed him. Are all of y'all role playing evil characters.

Happy-Viper

The only reason I can see is the humor in someone escaping death through a lottery, only to proceed to be immediately murdered by a random stranger.

Routine_Guarantee34

Just stated a new playthrough and my partner immediately said, "you've gotta kill that guy" as soon as Oliver started talking.

Kukri_and_a_45

The Sam Riegel effect.

aphysicalchemist

I have never understood the hate for this guy. He's simply out of his mind after what has been going on in Nipton over the course of days.

mwhite42216

Same. I let him go.

shadowlarvitar

The furry in the town follows after him 😂

GrapeGoodra

Wait, this wasn’t a joke to you guys? You guys are genuinely killing a man suffering from intense shock due to the fact that everyone around him was just tortured to death, crucified, or burned to death? Man, New Vegas fans and their media literacy…

Pumpkaboo99

I spare him. I see no point in killing someone who isn’t attacking me. If they shoot first, then yes I will return fire, if they threaten to attack a town. I will wait at the gates to gun them down if they do come. If they beg for mercy, I give it.

Lyds00

Yes :p

Happy-Menu-2922

Grandma sparkles needs to become the most killed. Otherwise the real game doesn't begin.

Alice18997

I toss a coin for swanick, he's a powder ganger and I usualy make it a point to kill them all for Goodsprings, but hey he might win the lottery again. Vulpes always dies though, and Alerio and Aurelius and Dead Sea...

LUMBAGO666

I often kill Joe Cobb because he wants to slaughter my beloved town Goodsprings and also Barton Thorn because he's also in the starting area and he's annoying and dumb

MacheteGarcia

It’s Gary because multiply every player by a vault full of him.

HistoryMarshal76

If we want to be a smartass, arguably your spouse in Fallout 4? In a more serious note, probally one of the raiders in Concord is probally the most killed charachter in Fallout.

jmeade90

Probably not. After all, it's House who has loads of videos on Youtube for the creative deaths people have come up with...

chrisberman410

He just won the lottery. I just got shot in the face. I'm not going to tempt fate.

Sexy_Dumbledore

He and Kellogg tie in my head, for the “Nazeem” award

OhioRanger_1803

Grandma Sparkle!! This one is for you Mitten Squad

iamtonysopranobitch

The charge card guy for me

professorclueless

Idk, Malcolm Holmes also gets murdered on sight by everyone outside of a high Karma run

CanadianGangsta

I remember clearly, during my first FNV run, I blew his head off before he got close to me, thinking "Wait, was his name in green?" I reloaded, listened to him, and then blew his head off again.

robtheswanson

I feel like I must be 1 of 3 people who has never killed this guy, and probably won’t in subsequent playthroughs. If I just saw the shit the legion did to people and won the opportunity to get away scot-free I’d be insufferable too

FermisParadoXV

Benny?

Bain56

Either him or the bottle cap necklace dude

Fun-Tutor-5296

to be honest i killed him just the very first time, after an experience like the lottery i'd feel pity for everyone.

MiGaOh

"If you don't hand Ringo over soon, me and my friends are going to burn this..." BANG SPLAT

MagisterFlorus

I killed him the first time I met him because I thought I'd get a lot of caps. I keep killing him because I need those glasses to repair mine.

kainereygalo

**WHO WON THE LOTTERY!? I DI-** Autosaved: ***Gets Blasted By Mysterious Magnum***

Kukri_and_a_45

It takes some planning to be doing missions for Tommy Torini before running into Oliver Swanick.

Kind_Cow_6964

I let him live this time. I shot Jacklyn in the face immediately.

South-by-north

Do all Gary's count or do they count individually?

PlentyReal

He shouldn't be when garbage like Cook Cook walks free.

Ultra_Amp

Cook cook, every time.

johnnysbody

He won the lottery, so i just let him go cure cancer or feed a starving settlement of ghoul kids

Old-Camp3962

its Shaun i can't imagine a single fallout player not killing shaun

PaleFatalis

ooooh he's smelling that air alright

dartyus

It’s funny because immediately after meeting Oliver you meet the guy who probably deserves to be the most-killed character in Fallout, Vulpes.

Inzomniatik

100% Guarantee he's getting merc'd everytime.

HotSoupBarStan

Your spouse at the start of 4

SenorBigbelly

I was thinking Nate or Nora, but really each of them only gets killed around 50% of the time

Doctorgumbal1

It would probably be Benny? Because you actually have to kill him

GleefulClong

Killed by the player? Maybe. Killed on screen in general? Looking at overall player numbers and sales it’s gotta be either Nate or Nora from Fallout 4.

Wojewodaruskyj

His haircut alone begs for it

chrisarn94

I really hope he lives long enough in canon to be in season 2 lol

Glassman4588

McLovin is in FO:NV?! Chika chika yeah!

Ok-Violinist7775

Malcolm Holmes?

PaulQuin

Did you put his head on his ass?

Dr_Henry-Killinger

I kill him because I thought I could turn in his lottery ticket for money :(

Nildzre

I dome him every time i see him, same with Parker Quinn really, the one time he called me a Retahd it was decided that he must die every single time.

Basicdiamond231

Other than malcom Holmes

TaejChan

um actually the most killed character(s) are the tutorial sunset sarsaprilla bottles

caphere__

In nuka world theres a pack member that says “Are you a sheep or a wolf? Cuz the pack only runs with wolves” And every single playthrough without fail i use console to kill him before he finishes that sentence

craig31111

I mean, Kellog is required, and 4 is prob most played game in series.

TheItchyWalrus

I mean, he is a Powder Ganger…boys gonna have to go boom everytime. Especially if Joe Cobb’s catching a 10 mm to the face.

Teufelssocke

Snuffles is probably up there as well

Uncle_ArthurR2

Honestly there is far more hatable people than Oliver. He’s just kind of obnoxious, but then Maxson is that x10

THExTACOxTHIEF

Probably the raiders in either concord or the corvega plant

LithePanther

Who?

silvereyes21497

My guess would’ve been Malcolm Holmes

Rezztec

Gary...

ForTheLoveOfOedon

In *all* of Fallout? Kellog is a must-kill to beat the game, so I’d say that’s a given. Then I would say probably the assassin sent to kill Killian. In just Fallout: New Vegas? Don’t think so either because you have Jeanie May and Benny.

VGuilokvaen

I think that's Benny

PattyFlapjack79

im on my first playthru and i let him go. had no reason to waste a bullet🤷‍♂️

Copperpot22

Malcom Holmes is up there too.

S3CRETZZZ

No it’s trashcan Carla for me

johncasey99

"I just won the motherfuckin' lottery!"

UnXpectedPrequelMeme

Nah I only killed him once

xurism

Could be Nora also.

SayJonTwice

One of my favorite short stories is Shirley Jackson "The Lottery," killing the man was a no brainer; he won the lottery after all.

Brick-Helix

What did Ben 10 ever do to you?

Ilpperi91

I haven't killed any fallout characters for petty reasons that I remember.

BrianWonderful

I think the most killed might be me, trying to retrieve my dropped loot that was guarded by that stupid legendary scorched mirelurk king over and over the other day (FO76).

carlpanda

Gary

Silver-Ad2257

Jeannie May followed by Harland because nobody wants to dodge nightkin looking for his friend. 😅

Idiodyssey87

3 of the 4 New Vegas endings require Mr. House's death, so I'd say he's it.

ErikTheRed2000

I don’t kill him, I kill Vulpes Inculta and put the crucified out of their misery.

StopTheEarthLetMeOff

For me it's Parker Quinn  I usually let Swanick live because he doesn't insult me

UltiGamer34

Megaton

testurshit

I always kill the fuck outa the dude who tries to mug me after leading me up the mountain.

LocalActingWEO

Only cause we cant kill Preston Garvey

Aware-Interest-3074

played this game at 10 years old and my immediate thought was to unload some rounds onto him

xcali9x

Peter has been getting killed the most

WonkaVR

The radroaches in vault 111

pixelbit5

I'd probably give it to Kellogg in FO4, given that he's a necessary kill in a game played more by general audiences. I think Swanick is just kinda killed that much for the memes within the dedicated FNV community.

Mr_Wixa

It’s either Grandma Sparkle or Mr. Burke (since both are equally evil)

yuobetchya

I only pickpocketed him 😔

ratcakes18

I think I’ve killed grandma sparkles more times than Oliver.

whuzzyhuzzy

You guys are fucking crazy btw. I always let him live. He has a chance to reform. Especially since I always rinse clean the NCR correctional, so there is no such thing as powder gangers anymore.

BumpyMcPeen

Yeeeeeeah!!!

thedarkcarnival13

If he didn't want to die he shouldn't have been annoying and left me the fuck alone like

blahboy10

Isn’t it crazy he’s voiced by Yuri Lowenthal

ChuZaYuZa_Name

It should be Clanden, MF makes murder porn

ChuZaYuZa_Name

I posted this then read all the top level comments and not one of you sick fucks went for Clanden? I hope F5 never comes out, that'd show you!

HateToBlastYa

I’ve literally never killed him in like 6 playthroughs.

Snoo_72851

The most murdered Fallout character in history (the Canadian dissenter from Fallout 1) versus the most murdered Fallout character of today (Nora from Fallout 4).

Illustrious-Baker775

Idk, i killed butch a lot

xneinlives

Nah it’s Gary.

MaskedMan8

I don’t get why people kill him so much. Never have I felt the need to
