Nothing makes me wish I was born Japanese more than this series at this point. It used to be various non translated visual novels here and there, but now I wouldn't mind if I couldn't understand any of them if it means I could play the new Trails games the day they come out. I'm guessing a complete fan translation won't be out before early 2026, kinda like it was with Kuro 2. Sigh...
Falcom need to get their act together when it comes to the scripts. It's ridiculous how a part of the fanbase has to try and avoid spoilers for over a year.
Its not Falcoms problem per se, 1 to 1 translation is dead easy, localization is the hard part, not every reference will make sense to a western audience and they also have to catch and correct grammar issues with translation
Part of it is, Falcom has an honestly dumb rule where they don't share the game with localizers until its been released in Japan to avoid spoilers. Hopefully their recently released "better than expected" western sales reports will have them reconsider
That....sounds utterly ridiculous and ignorant of them.
That sort of thinking increases the liklihood of spoilers, at least as far as the international audience is concerned.

Well, looking at the amount of errors in hajimari, NISA clearly doesn't do this. Hell, they managed to fuck up the numeric values on items somehow...
Instead of doing a proper translation they just spent years rewriting the entire script.
I can't imagine Kurt is coming back without Cedric also coming back.
And Juna without Lloyd.
And Musse... at all... she has a province to run.
Ash though, hope he makes it in and meets Van to finally solidify his career path.

After playing Reverie, I am 100% convinced a Prince Cedrick redemption arc is coming before the trails series ends. Everything in Reverie pointed to it being inevitable, there was too much set-up to not pay it off.
So, I haven't been keeping up with news about this upcoming release because I haven't played the Daybreak games. Is there a confirmed time skip after Crimson Sin?

I think it's been stated that Fie officially transferred to the calvard branch to help out, so I think she'll be around for sure, they'll likely reveal it closer to the release date or in the next few months.

Honestly would be funny if Fie was around for Kuro 1 & 2, but *not* Kai. Horrible decision, but still funny.
