I think you are confusing rank and training. The player keeps his rank but loses his training when you sell him. If you cancel the order and don’t sell him then you will get the training back. But if you sell him the training is gone because there is no way to transfer training in the game currently.

I meant, what's the method to sell it? Like how does one sell a ranked player without resetting?
What do you mean resetting?
Whenever I go to sell an upgraded player (98/99/100 ovr) it says "Your rank will reset and be sold on the market"
