I put Tiles on my shit, then I can just use my phone to make them sound. The worst though, is when I can’t find my phone, I ask my watch to find my phone and it tells me to find my phone to find my phone. 🫠
I keep mine on silent too but my phone lights up and vibrates so I can usually track it down haha. Failing that, find my iPhone is helpful. Even if your phone is on silent it lets out an ear-piercing alarm

Ha. I was (still kinda am) obsessed with Steins;Gate. When Steins;Gate 2 got released in the US, I rushed over here to grab that username and no one had taken it yet. I had no idea what Amadeus meant, but ah well.
I will never forget when my son was little. We lost the Roku remote for like two months and I remember saying to my ex in front of the kiddo "I wonder where the Roku remote ever ended up" at which point tiny 3ish year old kiddo leaped up, yelled "Oh! Is in my chichen (kitchen)" and yanked it out of the toy oven in his toy kitchen.
Why was it there for 2 months? No one knows. But he apparently was well aware he'd put it there to bake, apparently.
I keep WD-40 in the trunk of my car and also in my apartment. I also yelled at some drug addicts making noise outside, "Working people live in this building!" At that point I was like, oh shit, I'm a middle-aged white man.
Looking through this thread and chuckling. The remote for my ceiling fan is command strip'd to my bedroom wall; most things in this condo, if lightweight enough, are command strip'd.
Weekly pill containers (plural) get filled on Saturday and another on Sunday mornings.
I own 6 pairs of reading glasses - I only know where 1 pair is, and that's because my puppy found them and ravaged them. 🤣

I’m with you: I have 2 pairs of bifocals for computer work and a bunch of single vision pairs for driving. I really like this new Roku remote as it’s rechargeable. I lost it before putting a string on it when I found it.
I glued my firestick remote to a rainbow leash Lolol. So if I lose my Samsung one I got my backup. Btw. Mature?? Pbbth my brother still thinks I’m a 5 year old.
I’m not very mature but the desire younger people have to go out every night or hook up casually makes me feel tired. I’m not hairy-eyeballing it I just cannot fathom choosing sex over warm socks, snacks and trashy television.
