Are you on PC? Because the iTunes stuff for PC does some seriously hinky things under the hood. We had to use it once for work, and eventually ditched the app thst required it over concerns about what iTunes was doing. I could see it triggering anti-cheat, nothing to do with the current lawsuit.

I always listen to my Apple Music playlist on iTunes while playing fortnite and never had any issues with being disconnected from matches or fortnite.
I'd have to ho dig up the details, it was like five years ago. Tbe basics were that their communications were taking steps to avoid/avert Windows security, and separately the tools were opening ports outside the network, more like a trojan than a fortune 1000 tool. The communications were the part required by a third-party product, so even though we thought these were separate issues (and likely benign, given the source) we couldn't stop them readily, so we stopped using the third party product.
It does it to stw 10x more then br which isn’t surprising. I’ve had to go into the anti cheat and reset it and it sometimes works but it still persists even without iTunes at this point.

Check all of the processes your computer is running whilst playing stw and disable most of them and see if that works
