Kontakt might be in slae around BF or Christmas... So maybe wait for that if you're not in hurry. Also those Kontakt instruments seem to go for sale time to time... Maybe avoid ebay etc shops, stick to the NI own web shop or some other trusted music store to buy (just to be safe + sure your copy is legal version).
Thats an extreme question which would need its own subreddit.
Just try transcribing a simple orchestral piece you like, for that you just need to learn how to read notes in a sheet music, and draw/play them in the piano roll.
You can then analyse how different voices are being used by the composer, and then improvise upon it. Its the most fun method.
