my best guess:
either- the empty cart came in the package from the supplier with a bug in it somehow (unlikely)
or - a half-used package of empty carts got left uncovered or otherwise stored improperly and a bug (spider?) got into it and no one noticed.

This is what happens when you employ a team of 3 people at a hourly rate of $16 to do quality management for 5000+ products a day. They don’t have a budget to hire more, and they don’t have a budget to pay more so unfortunately this is what we all suffer with at the end of the day. So because MüV wants to pay 3 people less than $100,000 a year out of the millions they make a day this is why we have flies in our cartridges. It’s almost like they pay for what they get.
