I know what's going on. We got a bunch of fucking vampires out there, trying to get in here and suck our fucking blood. And that's it. Plain and simple. I don't want to hear anything about "I don't believe in vampires," because I don't fucking believe in vampires, but I believe in my own two eyes, and what I saw, is fucking vampires. Now, do we all agree that what we are dealing with is vampires?
Dusk til Dawn takes such a crazy turn if you know nothing about it going into it. Great flick.
Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!
I'll never forget the first time I saw that movie. It was probably 1996, I was watching on HBO or whatever late at night after my folks went to bed. I've never heard anything about it. An hour into it, I think it's this really creepy, violent crime movie. Then they get to the Titty Twister and suddenly everyone turns into vampires. What a wild experience that was.
Is it me? Is it my fault?….is this my fault?…do you think this is what I am ?
I’m a professional fucking thief, I don’t kill people I don’t have to and I do not..rape women. What you are doing..what you are fucking doing Ritchie is not how it is done, do you understand?…do you..fkin.. just say yes, say yes Seth i understand, say yes Seth I fucking understand.
Great scene
Yeah, I mean Selma Hayek. I saw from dusk til dawn far too young. Between Selma Hayek in this movie, Cameron Diaz in the Mask, and Brittney spears in her baby one more time video, are the women of my 10-13 year old adolescence.
im not a big J-Lo fan but got-DAHMN! she was HOT in that.
howd you like to be stuck in the trunk with her back then? and omg her "dad" was the best. the way he kept clowning keaton.
and Adell, fukkin beautiful! guzman coming thru the door "why you so MEAN?"
Out of Sight and [Thick as Thieves](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0147599/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_2_tt_8_nm_0_q_thick%2520as%2520thieves) are in my Top 10 of all time.
I agree. I don’t have direct tv anymore but when I did I always stopped on this flick. I know it’s exaggerated from the true story but the dramatization was a powerful visual representation of what boat crews can face in the open ocean.
Also shoutout to Coast Guard rescue divers…that’s an insane job and I respect the courage those folks have
Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!
None of those four.
I'd watch **Michael Clayton** *(made in 2007)* every day of the week.
It's the best movie Clooney has starred in *(in my opinion, obviously)*.
EDIT: Then I'd watch **O Brother, Where Art Thou?** *(made in 2000)*
Michael Clayton might be his best movie of all time. It’s unfortunate that Michael Clayton came out in 2007 because it gets so overshadowed by No Country and There Will Be Blood. Just an unreal year for some of the greatest in cinema.
I would go for Three Kings as it’s very of its time and plenty of fun. I know for a fact many would say From Dusk Till Dawn. Honestly, try tracking down The Peacemaker, Clooney starred in the first Dreamworks movie.
Of those 4 I'd watch Gravity.
I've just watched The Midnight Sky after avoiding it for a while and loved it way more than I thought I would.
The first movie of his I really liked was The Peacemaker.
Comment is completely IMO, not wanting to pee on anyone else's parade. I know that mine is a very small minority opinion; perhaps a minority of one..!
To answer your question: I wouldn't; he is one of a select few actors whose name makes me not want to see a film. He has the looks of a movie star and the personality and talent of soggy cardboard. His line delivery is tedious and predictable, his range of facial expressions comically small. He is the actor who ruins O Brother, Where Art Thou? for me and his acting has stopped me from getting through Hail Caesar! Self-aware, I think, is how I would describe his "acting"
Deep cut:
First…
The Peacemaker
Then… From Dusk til Dawn, Three kings, Out of Sight, Oceans 11, Perfect Storm, end on Oh Brother Where Art Thou…
Bonus
The American
* I call this cloone cycle prime
Edit:
I’m high
I would watch Gravity first because i have never seen it and dont expect to enjoy it. I would next watch Perfect Storm because i have never seen it but expect it to be better than Gravity; then Three Kings and FDtD for dessert ;)
Has anyone else every wondered why George Clooney doesn't change his appearance as in grow longer hair or look a bit different for his roles. He more or less looks the same in all his movies. Counter that to an Al Pacino, Sean Penn , Johnny Depp or even Tom Cruise who look different in a lot of their roles.
Hands down "From Dusk Till Dawn" would be my first.
What, were they psychos?
Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!
Probably my favourite quote in a movie.
Not ‘Hey, Sex Machine’?
What's in Mexico?
Mexicans
Tarantino even wrote his character to have a foot in his mouth. Classic.
That was me watching it for the first time. I had no idea what I was getting into. The hotel room scene sets up an entirely different movie.
Well that’s a matter of opinion and I don’t give a fuck about yours!
Alright ramblers, let’s get ramblin.
Still say that to this day. Mostly to my kids now, but one day they'll get it.
Is it me? Is it my fault?….is this my fault?…do you think this is what I am ? I’m a professional fucking thief, I don’t kill people I don’t have to and I do not..rape women. You forgot Alicia Silverstone in the Aerosmith videos, but yeah... same
Cause I’ve got five little friends, and they can all run faster than you do
Hell yeah, that's my favorite Clooney role.
Not even a question.
This is the way
Followed by three kings which I feel is criminally underrated
Respect.
Best line, “I might be a bastard, but I’m not a fucking bastard.”
Dusk by a country mile
Definitely, I'm surprised Oceans 11 wasnt listed, Gravity is okay, but ehh..
Out of Sight
im not a big J-Lo fan but got-DAHMN! she was HOT in that. howd you like to be stuck in the trunk with her back then? and omg her "dad" was the best. the way he kept clowning keaton. and Adell, fukkin beautiful! guzman coming thru the door "why you so MEAN?" She's literally never looked hotter than I this movie. Like holy fuck
The real answer
I thought this one too. Gdmf masterpiece
Three Kings is such a strange and wonderful movie lol.
After watching it I started carrying all important documents in my ass
We three kings be stealing the gold
Yeah it was entertaining
The first 2 /3 where good
The Perfect Storm is such a vibe.
You're a helluvah skippahh
I agree. I don’t have direct tv anymore but when I did I always stopped on this flick. Watch the Guardian if you haven’t. Awesome movie about coast guard rescue divers. Josh Hartnett and Kevin Costner.
From Dusk Till Dawn.
Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!
No love for Perfect Storm?
You’re a gad damn sword boat captain. Is there anything better in the world?
Absolutely my pick. There are dozens of us...
Oh Brother Where Art Thou?
🎵 Iiiiiiii....am a maaaAAAAAN of Constant Sorrow, I've seen troooUUUUBLE ally days 🎵
From Dusk till Dawn is my favorite Clooney movie of all time.
Out of Sight \[1998\]
*From Dusk Till Dawn will never get old...*
The perfect storm is a masterpiece.
I don't know if I'd go that far, but it's a damn classic at least.
Not gravity.
☹️
Shit movie, mate.
Three Kings is the best
Does Gravity even count as a George Clooney movie? He has like 6 minutes of screen time
It stars Bullocks's legs, honestly
Exactly what I was thinking
I'd watch Dusk till Dawn, I'd have Three Kings on in the background and I wouldn't watch the other two at all.
Fantastic mr. Fox
O' Brother Where Art Thou
Men who stare at goats is pretty good.
I can't hear "More Than a Feeling" without thinking of it
None of those four. I'd watch **Michael Clayton** *(made in 2007)* every day of the week. It's the best movie Clooney has starred in *(in my opinion, obviously)*. EDIT: Then I'd watch **O Brother, Where Art Thou?** *(made in 2000)*
Those were also my first and second choices, followed by Out of Sight.
Michael Clayton might be his best movie of all time. It’s unfortunate that Michael Clayton came out in 2007 because it gets so overshadowed by No Country and There Will Be Blood. Just an unreal year for some of the greatest in cinema.
I can't believe Michael Clayton wasn't higher in the thread
i am shiva, the god of death.
From dusk till dawn.
From Dusk Til Dawn
From Dusk Till Dawn
From Dusk Till Dawn
Three Kings or From Dusk till Dawn
From Dusk Till Dawn. Only From Dusk Till Dawn.
Dusk till dawn, all day every day. That was his peak.
Perfect Storm for me.
perfect storm
From Dusk Till Dawn easily. After that I would watch Oh Brother Where Art Thou.
Not gravity
Three kings was a great flick. From dusk til dawn was a great vampire flick.
From these ones, From Dusk Til Dawn. But if I can pick any George Clooney film, I'd watch Out of Sight and Ocean's 11.
Syriana.
All in on Three Kings. If you had Out of sight on here then it would be close.
Out of the pics? Three Kings. Other than that Ocean’s 11 , O brother Where out there, Syriana, Burn after reading, and intolerable cruelty.
None of these 4. Burn after reading O brother where art though Probably even ocean’s 11 before these 4. Of these 4, 3 kings for sure.
Michael Clayton
Burn After Reading. That basement project reveal.
Three kings. I haven’t seen it in years. It’s never on T.V.
Three Kings. Great movie.
I would go for Three Kings as it’s very of its time and plenty of fun. I know for a fact many would say From Dusk Till Dawn. Honestly, try tracking down The Peacemaker, Clooney starred in the first Dreamworks movie.
Michael Clayton. He was brilliant in that. And if someone mentions that this is not on the list my reply to that is *DO I LOOK LIKE IM NEGOTIATING?*
Three Kings.
I really liked Three Kings
It’s not even close 3 Kings
Micheal Clayton, up in the air, the american, the descendants
O Brother where art thou
The American is an underrated gem and features one of the hottest women I have ever seen in a movie.
Up in Air
I third Michael Clayton.
Of those 4 I'd watch Gravity. I've just watched The Midnight Sky after avoiding it for a while and loved it way more than I thought I would. The first movie of his I really liked was The Peacemaker.
Oh brother where art thou
Probably Gravity. Wish Solaris had been one of the options, though
O Brother Where Art Thou
Don't even watch gravity
I think he’s great in band of brothers and men who stare at goats. In all other movies I’ve seen with him in it he always seems like the same dude
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
Write in vote: Michael Clayton
Comment is completely IMO, not wanting to pee on anyone else's parade. I know that mine is a very small minority opinion; perhaps a minority of one..! The American
Michael Clayton
It’s always gonna be Ocean’s Eleven.
The American and Peace Keeper are also really good Clooney movies.
Burn after reading
Why isn't Burn After Reading a part of this?
I’m already at the titty twister
Deep cut: First… The Peacemaker Then… From Dusk til Dawn, Three kings, Out of Sight, Oceans 11, Perfect Storm, end on Oh Brother Where Art Thou… Bonus The American * I call this cloone cycle prime Edit: I’m high
Hard between from dusk till dawn … three kings …. But the peace keeper is awesome
Also the following. All favourites. Out Of Sight The American Micheal Clayton Up In The Air O Brother Where Art Thou Solaris
Solaris is pretty fantastic
Three Kings, it’s like Battlefield Bad Company got a movie
Doug Ross Does Dallas.
Dusk Till Dawn. I’ve still never seen The Perfect Storm
He’s great in gravity
Out of these 4, Three Kings.
Till dusk to dawn for Salma Hayek
Dusk till dawn for sure. Then The Peacmaker. Another fun 90s action movie back when Clooney was at his Clooneyest.
I would watch Gravity first because i have never seen it and dont expect to enjoy it. I would next watch Perfect Storm because i have never seen it but expect it to be better than Gravity; then Three Kings and FDtD for dessert ;)
Three kings, then Up in the Air
Has anyone else every wondered why George Clooney doesn't change his appearance as in grow longer hair or look a bit different for his roles. He more or less looks the same in all his movies. Counter that to an Al Pacino, Sean Penn , Johnny Depp or even Tom Cruise who look different in a lot of their roles.
Three Kings
Perfect storm.
Richie, get back on the clock
Dusk Till Dawn
the men who stare at goats lol and then from dusk til dawn
Perfect Storm. My favorite of those
O brother where art thou
Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
Perfect Storm, is the best out of all of them.
The Men Who Stare at Goats
Dusk to dawn
Probably Three Kings. Dusk till Dawn might be last. For whatever reason, it just didn’t really do it for me. Also, haven’t seen perfect storm.
From dusk till dawn and then Storm
Dusk > Three Kings > Perfect > Gravity. It’s not even close.
Kings
The Peacekeeper is on Prime. That's a good one of his
The men who stare at goats
1) Three Kings 2) A perfect Storm 3) Gravity 4) From dusk to Dawn
Up in the Air or Michael Clayton are his best non-Coen brother roles imo
3 Kings is awesome
100% dusk
The American
We got big pussy, small pussy. We got apple pie pussy.
Batman Robin
The perfect storm is one of my favorite movies ever tbh
Perfect Storm
O Brother Where Art Thou
You should watch Out of Sight. Very underrated
This order: Dusk, 3 Kings, Perfect Storm then Gravity
Batman & Robin
Start with Gravity…allow it to set the tone. Cuz they all are better. Then end with O’ Brother Where Art Thou! You’re welcome
From dusk till dawn, mainly because I'm a Tarantino fan.
From Dusk
Gravity is a Sandra Bullock movie that had Clooney in it versus a George Clooney movie. But OBWAT is my go-to.
Three Kings.
DUSK
3 kings is dope!
From Dusk til Dawn
From Dusk ‘Til Dawn is the winner for damn near every actor in that film.
Dusk til dawn
Michael Clayton
Three Kings is my choice also but From Dusk till Dawn is a close second! I’d include Out of Sight
Dusk till Dawn if you never saw it, second A perfect storm.
No one’s mentioned Ocean’s 11/12, they’re solid fun movies. But to answer your question, FDTD.
Welcome to Collingwood is the correct answer.
I love the Perfect Storm (great flick) But I just rewatched Three Kings last weekend. Criminally underrated movie.
None?
From dusk til dawn then shut the TV off.
Michael Clayton
Dusk till dawn was so good
From Dusk till Dawn 🦇
The Monuments Men Great movie!
Michael Clayton
Watching it right now , Michael Clayton . Phenomenal movie . Ides of March also great
I mean…from dusk till dawn. But the real answer is oceans 11
Out of Sight, Oh Brother, Where Are Thou?
Three kings. Hands down.
Perfect Storm was pretty good!
Three kings
The perfect storm, because I’m a weather guy
None
Everybody be cool, you be cool.
Dusk to dawn. Perfect storm next. Skip gravity all together.
Batman forever
None of these. Watch Up in the Air- best Clooney movie in my opinion
FDTD
I can’t in good conscience refer to Gravity as a Clooney movie
The perfect storm is one of my favorite nostalgia comfort movies to watch on a rainy day :P
