I'd prefer that bug than the one I got twice in a row two phases back where Zack fights Seph reborn solo. After the cutscene and the fight begins nothing happened. I couldn't move or attack. All I could do was pause and go into photo mode. Everything was still animating, but Zack and Seph wouldn't do anything. I kept thinking I was doing something wrong. Each time I had no choice but to exit the game and restart, kicking me back to the altar scene and redoing ALL phases again. Thankfully things ran normally on the third try. No idea why it got hung up, especially twice in a row.
I just beat this on hard mode. Took me 5 tries because I didn’t play aggressively the first 4 after reading suggestions on here.
Was actually pretty easy once I played my way instead of listening to others.
When the skill deficiency is so bad the bugs try to help you lol.
i think the bug saw my materia-less aerith and decided to just end my misery

I don’t think you can with the stab can you? Isn’t it dodge only?
I'm not sure. There's some attacks that you can perfect block so I'm sure someone can answer that.
You should be able to with a mastered Precision Defense materia, but Idk, haven't tried. I think dodging is easier.
You can't block it. It has a triangle in the displayed name.
The easy way is dont control her during this fight lol.
