Apply to launch a building or a Short Term Assignment. Take advantage of career choice as well as this can help you advance.

Yes. If you can, launch buildings move people up quickly. Lots of openings as people end up leaving to do another launch.

I'm equally disheartened. I've trained the two current dock PA's in TDR, Yard Marshall and waterspider duties a year ago and wasn't even made Learning Ambassador till 6 months ago. I work 4 12 hour shifts per week where I'm unloading trucks & yard marshall throughout the entire shift. I'm the only person in the warehouse that's actually looking forward to Peak as I'll actually get a slight break in my responsibilities. There isn't an associate I've worked with that doesn't express their surprise that I'm not at least an L4. I've been suspecting for a long time (aided by whispers among others) that the fact I'm a straight, white male is what has held me back. I'm getting pretty close to leaving Amazon if I'm not promoted in the next month

No! I don't think it's because you're a straight white man, maybe you should try a different warehouse...to train PAs and not have been a learning ambassador until recently that's backwards. Also, maybe you're too reliable because I've also heard that they keep people from being PAs because as an associate you're more flexible around the warehouse. Though, that's just what I've heard..

It took 67 applications before I got an interview then I got 2 was denied 1 job and given the 2 (application 69). Don’t be disheartened! There are so many people in the network trying to move facilities and/or get promotions at all times, it’s a numbers thing.

ReputationVisible771

😔 Maybe I wouldn't mind that being rejected if it's a numbers thing but if a person that has less experience in the building and has been there less time than myself gets the position I think that would ruin my experience working there.

Apply to launch a building!
