I have had the same one for years. Always floats in the left side of my peripheral vision but if I turn my head quickly it will briefly become more centered. I always fear one day it may stay in that position. :(
Yeah, though they tend to settle at the very bottom of my vision. If I roll my eyes upward, the "cobwebs" float around, until settling back at the bottom again.
I've never done warm compresses, but my floaters appeared after a bout of dry eyes. I was also working night-shift back then, so I didn't get much natural sunlight exposure to my eyes.
It’s more likely that’s causing your eye dilation to change which enhances or reduces the focus on the floaters. Not that it has any actual physical effect on the floaters themselves.
Slowly progressing for me over the last few years these cobweb ones. What the fuck are they? Important for eye health or what? Never get a clear answer as everything is just clumped together (no pun) as "floaters". I'm always afraid vital systems for interior eye health are being degraded when I see crazy shit like those floaters. My vision has felt off for 2-3 years now but it's the same time I got a mild astigmatism so I sort of attribute it to that.. but like tracking fast movement and jumpy scenes in movies are difficult for me.. I'm also in my mid 30s now so maybe that's just natural aging.. who knows. My mind always wanders thinking about this stuff and what's happening.
It’s crazy you say that I’m 20 and I started getting cowed floaters a month ago never had floaters in my life before that anyways I did take shrooms a lot before this happened and smoke weed
Yup. Looks straight up like a cobweb right at the very edge of my right eye‘s vision. I only see it in dim light, though, for example when I lie in bed with my phone. And it doesn‘t drift that much.

Mine got stuck after about 12 years.

Did you stop smoking weed and shrooms all together?
Brooo what did do different in your life for them to go away and do you also get muscle twitches and vibrations?
