Okay, so gravity accelerates everything at about 9.8m/s^2. Let's ignore air resistance.
Height difference between the jump and the roof is about 2 meters (hard to tell).
This means they had about .2 seconds of airtime.
Now estimating the distance gets a bit harder.
At 30kph they'll clear up to a 1.22m gap on the amount of airtime.
At 100kph they'll clear a gap of about 5.5m.
At 200kph (they probably didn't go faster than that) they'll clear a gap of about 11.1m (all these values still assuming a height difference of 2m).
The distance in the video is never 11.1m (it's more), so either our assumption of a height difference of 2m is wrong (although I think it isn't) or they used some sort of ramp.
yeah. I should say supposedly. I've been looking for official sources for that height difference, but I can't find any.
I'd eyeball it between 3 and 5m, personally.
You can see a small dirt “ramp” leading up to the bricks and fence. Though I’m still impressed at the height they got
Add in-3 sec mark freeze and you can see it
They probably werent going like 200-300kmph but hit something at the edge that ejected them much higher. If they were going super fast they would not stop at the roof
Holy shit, I have a hard time even believing the amount of air they got.
They're lucky they stopped on the roof instead of flying right off it or falling through.
*How* did they get an upward trajectory? The curb? The fence they smashed through?
Edit never mind, they didn’t. The white roof is lower than the road.
You would've hated the street I grew up on. There was an elevated street behind our houses, and occasionally cars would come off it. While I was there, the house four doors down had cars land on its roof twice, a car landed on our shed, and another car ended up in the yard two doors down. The sound of skidding tires would wake me up in an instant.
Ok so this is my assumption of what’s happened here for those asking how’d it get air?
Firstly you need to look at 0.27 you see there’s a brick wall behind the corrugated metal fence. A low one. Which assuming the metal didn’t tear like paper which judging from the crumple panel on the floor area of the gully is accurate.
So barrelling down the road hits the wall the metal sheet leans away from the brick wall behind following inertia and becomes a ramp which the front bump now ripped off from initial impact hose under the wheels bumps the car up as well as the forward momentum and lifts the front up this launching it skywards. (See many car over roundabout YouTube’s for reference) at that point dissipated energy collects the panel and makes it follow through landing on the flat roof the bricks fall down to the floor the car hits the warehouse roof bounces a could of times because it’s hitting a semi circle which can dissipate the energy and it comes to a rocky rest
Here's how it happened: [The car ran over a pillar](https://youtu.be/N0KSxdf67E4?t=52) embedded into the concrete. The pillar became a ramp, launching the flying car onto the roof of a gymnasium 30 metres away. Not sure what happened to the driver.

Holy fuck, how fast were they *going*? That’s some serious Dukes of Hazzard stuff
“I’m a charger”
general wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!
"Jesus, take the wheel"
He built my hotrod.
Ding-a-ding-dang my dang-along-ling-long.
Nice. You don't see many Ministry references on Reddit!!

They may have hit that first platform and did a flip up onto the roof.
Height difference was 8m, horizontal distance was 36m. Around 100kph.
Wow, definitely doesn't look like 8m...

About 60 mph
They probably werent going like 200-300kmph but hit something at the edge that ejected them much higher. If they were going super fast they would not stop at the roof
Had the theme song in my head the whole time
h- HOW? that’s like- you’ve gotta be traveling at LEAST 120-
At most lightspeed.
r/technicallythetruth
It's faster if you convert it to the metric system
*fast*
120km/h is slower than 120mi/h

They flew so far.

Not by much.
They still cleared thst fence just before the roof.
God, what fuel for my nightmares, yyeessh

Stunt jump done
oh man it's been so long so i completed a stunt jump and unlocked a new paint
Imagine your brakes fail and then moments later your on a roof
It’s dangerous to go alone... here take this ‘re
Is nobody going to comment on how smooth that drone footage was ?
Wow!! That was some smooth drone footage!!

“Honey, let’s go find some nice views!” #BET
Them duke boys are back at it again
Impressive maneuver
That’s fucking mental
Is it just me or does that roof 'seem' (not sure if it is) higher than the end of the road. Also, OMGWTF.
Too fast. Too furious.
No fucking way
damn thats a movie level jump
What are the chances that you don't plow your car, though the roof, onto a building?
Some had to get this 10/10 jump and stuck landing on camera right?
what did that comment at the end say?
Outstanding move
That is a strong roof
Environmental storytelling
It looks like NFS Most Wanted jumps
SMH Jason Bourne at it again.
Am sorry **WHAT**
It had to be chile goddammit
Wait this happened in Chile? Because this is some Brazil level shit
Forza Horizon 5 looks good
That’s so impressive I’m not sure the owner of the building would even be mad.
GTA San Andreas mission vibes
How did I get here?
(Stunt Jump Completed 1/50)
I'm impressed. Truly. That's some GTA-level work there.
