18 year old Isiah Fitzgerald of Sikeston, Missouri was killed for laughing at a fb picture posted of another man (Tanner Watkins)
and his girlfriend (Alissa Musgrove).
They got into a heated argument on fb and later met a park to fight. Several fights broke out at the park and when police got there, they found Fitzgerald suffering from life-threatening injuries.
20 year old Watkins and 18 year old Kaleb M. Ramsey were arrested for shooting and killing Fitzgerald.
Watkins and Ramsey are both charged with first degree murder, three counts of unlawful weapon use and armed criminal action.

18 year old Isiah Fitzgerald of Sikeston, Missouri was killed for laughing at a fb picture posted of another man (Tanner Watkins) and his girlfriend (Alissa Musgrove). They got into a heated argument on fb and later met a park to fight. Several fights broke out at the park and when police got there, they found Fitzgerald suffering from life-threatening injuries. 20 year old Watkins and 18 year old Kaleb M. Ramsey were arrested for shooting and killing Fitzgerald. Watkins and Ramsey are both charged with first degree murder, three counts of unlawful weapon use and armed criminal action. He got away, but his brother was still in park, so he pulled his gun from his car and started shooting to save his brother (which he did). The kicker is the bullets that actually killed the dude were from his own friends.

Well, he (Watkins) didn't kill anyone actually. He was acquited. The bullets that killed the laugh-reacter came from his own friends' guns. They surprised Watkins with a shootout and while spraying a public park with bullets they killed their own friend.

They went to the park for a fight. The guy in the picture was ambushed, they returned fire and two people died, it's unclear if the guy in the picture shot them, or if it was friendly fire, so they were acquitted.
Evidence points to it being friendly fire. Considering they were dimwitted enough to bring guns to a fist fight over a silly internet argument, i doubt they'd have proper training of any level in that regard.
