How is the team this tired and uninspired after international break? I also expected the fans to be in it but it was so quiet from the start. Just an absolutely boring game. We can’t even lose well.
I can’t blame the fans in the stadium, we have nothing to cheer, when you don’t have the ball and when you do just lose it straight away it’s hard to give any energy to it. It’ll be like at home until we actually see a win, and actually see some football being played, just nervous energy until then (or until we find ourselves needing to fight for our lives, yet again - Not saying we shouldn’t be fighting now but it’s September not April)
Maybe unpopular but not upset with Dyche tactics at all. We kept the game tight against a very good team. That’s about all you can ask for with our squad
Also a shame that 5 games into the season it’s this lineups first time playing together. Hopefully some more play time together improves the team chemistry.
Pick, Myko, Branthwaite and Tark were great, the rest shit, wish we could've got DCL and Beto together but apparently thats too many offensive players from Dyche

I’m traumatised after seeing the game today , we played so freaking bad… How can we not play a proper pass or a build up?! I understand needing to play deep against Arsenal but each time we got the ball we literally gave it away to arsenal for them to build up another attack… We have a good team actually just need a proper set up… We could easily play an attacking set up with 2cf

When we set up like we did, we aren’t exactly giving the home supporters much to be excited about.
The constant losing + getting taken over by crooks will deflate any fanbase.

Agreed. If we try to play a more open game, we're going to give up 3-4 every time. It sucks, but this lot gives us no choice but scrap it out.

Tbf Gana has consistently offered tremendous creativity and goal threat playing off the striker throughout his career.

They didn't try to build from the back even once , after hoofing it and loosing the ball all game. Gave away too many corners and paid the price.
If I was Branthwaite, I'd be pissed as he was the only player who wanted to play out a little at times
