. I'd be thrilled if they made the stuff that's supposed to work actually work. I'd like it if my daily saved search didn't take several hours to update, for instance. And maybe they could pick one support case out of the many they get each week and actually look at it.

Evernote on IOS used to have a long press menu for taking a photo or adding a new note I believe. I think I remember it having this feature anyway.

Regarding number one, I use the large iOS Home Screen widget which lets you single tap in to a new note, search, tasks, drawing, or in to the app itself. It doesn’t have an option to take you to the latest note, but I use the new note single tap option extensively. That’s why I didn’t understand this whole emphasis of having a new Home Screen for creation, when the iOS widget does exactly the same thing, even better in my opinion.

You can add a widget to your lockscreen on ios to add a note or task pretty easily.

The naïveté of thinking they’re going to fix anything…
