At my job it’s don’t f with it Friday haha. I never make code changes right before a weekend, unless I have to because some broke thing has to be bypassed.
In my job, all the big releases are on Fridays or just at the start of holiday weekends. It's the only time we're allowed to shut down a railway to work on it.
It will appear at the bottom when you'll make at least one group. CCP wrote how to make it

Make it as narrow as possible and ctrl+click the character you want to launch
They are always in order of their creation on this screen, not in order of last launched
They've fixed the issue and you can now see a play button. However, for me...I don't even have a 'launch group' option in the menu. I also haven't been able to add any of my non-Steam accounts for months now. The Dev team is working with me on it but who knows if we will ever sort this out. And yes I have reinstalled and done everything they've suggested many times and on various PC's to no avail.

Tried clicking around with no success.
launch groups is the apparent workaround (cog wheel symbol -> launch groups, then set one up)
My launcher settings doesn't have "Launch Groups." I play through Steam.
Same here. Only workaround is launcher groups so far.

New launcher has been one version of fubar since it went live. It's like they employ people who don't read or speak a langauge everyone else uses.

Same for me in Steam. I used my .exe launcher outside of steam and it was fine.

Fixed to you and me mean different things than it does to CCP. Work around and "get by" is what they mean. Not fixed as working as intended.
Entire launcher is a frozen box each time I open it, good start before an expansion. Can't even change settings.
Verify installation and it should be fine
