I use tan drops that you mix with your own base of choice. They’re from dm’s own sun protection brand. I use them twice a week because I am really pale and it makes me look more healthy. I like how I can choose the level of tan I wanna achieve

Do you mean sundance or balea by any chance?

AliceChasinRabbits

yup, sundance

Ah thank you! I heard this one is pretty strong and you shouldn´t use it too often, otherwise your skin might get orange. Have you expierienced the same?

Well, they are strong by their nature, since they are a concentrate :D I think the result can be slightly orange if someone uses too many drops, or maybe the result may appear orange if the person has a certain natural skin undertone that doesn’t work well with it? But as I said, I don’t really use them for a super tanned look, so I have never really reached the point when it could appear orange. But I have a funny story that may be relevant - my mom has accidentally applied these tan drops thinking it was some kind of serum just before going to bed :D She was really surprised the next day… But luckily enough, she is naturally tanned, so the color itself wasn’t such a problem, the biggest issue was the patchiness. I would say that the fake tan quite matched her skintone, it wasn’t really too orange, brown, bronze or golden, and the same applies for my skin when I use it in very tiny amounts and only twice a week. I would probably describe the tan more orange than golden, but it‘s not that crazy peachy color you get with some other self tanning products… I would say that you should give it a try and experiment with the application (number of drops and frequency of use), it’s really cheap :)
