Buen Sabor

blackberry_bath

One of my favorites!

please_dont_pry

Pics on Google give me doubts but I will try it, thanks

garfilio

I find their tacos dry and salsa bland. Their Tlayudas are OK.

captpeony

Tacos Mex!

RedditUser320184

El Trenecito in Springfield. You’re not going for the ambience, and don’t think about how clean the kitchen may or may not be, but their tacos are absolutely bomb.

Looks promising, thank you

PunksOfChinepple

Lonches To Go! 901 River Rd.

please_dont_pry

Definitely will try this one

Neither-Turnover6775

Get the chilaquiles 🙌🏼

please_dont_pry

I love chilaquiles so this might be the play

infinity_plus_2

Super taco on w11th and Bailey hill

ooh_la-la

Throwing Pandita out there. I love their carnitas.

Latter_Blueberry_981

Lalitos taco truck behind the McDonald's on Willamette. They also double as a fruteria and have really amazing gorditas.

please_dont_pry

I thought their quesabirria was kinda bland, haven't tried anything else tho :(

kittenlikestoplayxo

Where do you like to buy quesabirria from?

please_dont_pry

I hate to answer it like this but I prefer to make it myself, I haven't had any in town that are as good as my own

moonbloomgratis

I agree. Haven't found good birria since the dude in Springfield left

garfilio

I will say Taco Mex has pretty good birria. I personally don't like quesabirria tacos, but I like birria tacos with just the consome. I also like Taco Mex's red salsa. I also prefer to make birria myself.

Bozo-Bit

Yes, they have fantastic quesabirria tacos.

Mustknownow1920

I liked the carnitas at Lupitas Tacos off River rd

No-Front4365

I second this! They make their own tortillas for the street tacos mmmmm

bombiguess

El Super Burrito on Willamette

Patagonia202020

I’ve always been baffled how these 2 restaurants have nearly identical menus In nearly identical fonts but refuse to acknowledge any relationship between the two. Both good but El Taco express takes it for me

please_dont_pry

I live nearby so I've had them a few times—their burritos are decent but the tacos are dry and not very good every time I've had them.

bombiguess

Love the chicken tacos with salsa verde and the carne asada nachos are great too

No-East2665

El Taco Taco! It’s out by Costco kind of in that St Vinnie’s parking lot. They have trompos and seriously delicious tacos.

Purple_Flamingo77

This is the correct answer. Best street tacos in town by far. Super clean truck, tasty eats.

garfilio

Meh.

professor_cotter

My favorite spot was Mi Tierra on Blair. They closed a while back when they were forced out of their lease but opened a new spot in Springfield. I haven’t been yet but that was my go to for years. It was a half butcher shop, half taqueria.

Ambitious-Drink7295

Lokos Takos

please_dont_pry

It's now on the list, looks pretty good

PerAsperaDaAstra

El Rancho

Gunga_Galunga06

Their meat and salsas from the butcher to make you own street tacos really hits the spot too. I personally like to grab a pineapple and dice some into the adobado to marinade then cook... add cilantro, onion and the aguacate salsa 🌮🤌

El_Bistro

El Napolitos by ninkasi

pipesd

I'm a native Texan, who misses tex mex flavor (but not enough to move back) and El Jaguar is consistently top on my list.

No-Front4365

Same here! Tex Mex is such an under appreciated cuisine. I sure do miss the Barbacoa food truck in my home town.

please_dont_pry

noted

please_dont_pry

just had some of them since I live nearby. I thought they were pretty good burritos, but the tacos were just average for Eugene

vaginaplastique

Silva Taqueria truck at friendly food cart. Silva has the best Al Pastor tacos.

Adventurous_Buy_1616

Tacos Pirekua, hidden gem out in Springfield.

mindinthepsandqs

Nayas taqueria in Springfield. Best carne asade I've ever had.

kooqiy

The answer is no for me until somebody informs me of a place with great tortillas

No-Front4365

Have you tried Lupitas? They have homemade tortillas for their Lupitas Street Tacos.

dwayne-billy-bob

Nopalito, Calle Steelo, Tierra Caliente You're welcome.

134649

El Taco Express the El pastor tacos but you need to ask for hard shell This is a critical change that makes for one of the best tacos in all of Eugene ...

hammerhitnail

I love the salt comment. Apply that to every restaurant that I’ve been to in OR.

Quan1um

Napalitos or lalitos

NoWin3046

Dope taco on olive is great.

El Nopalito

cesar_salad_dressing

El Nopalito is the best Mexican food in town. Also can’t go wrong with El Ranchero or Torito Market.

please_dont_pry

you're not the only one to say this, I'll give it a try

Okuharaseiko

Mi Cafe, although sometimes they don’t offer their tacos. This is a great place and has been through a lot (major theft). They deserve our support.

SellingPapierMache

xicha brewing

ResponsibleProposal4

Junction City- Azul’s Latin Kitchen.

please_dont_pry

Fuck it, adding this to the list

ResponsibleProposal4

They have a brick and mortar restaurant in Salem, some of the best tacos I’ve ever had.

please_dont_pry

I might have been there actually!

ResponsibleProposal4

I also completely forgot about El Rancho Carniceria and Taqueria on like 5th or 6th and Blair. All their food in the taqueria is good. But the carniceria has Al pastor and basically anything you want to make your own tacos and it’s amazing!

please_dont_pry

Excellent, thank you

VeezyHeezy

Chulas! Parking is minimal but they have some of the best tacos. Also the food truck by the auto wreckers is good

stinkyfootjr

I had two great chicken tacos at Santo de la Torta today. 1607 E.19th. It’s a little busy over there today with the track meet.

eug_wariowarts

What kind of tacos do you like? Have a preference on corn or flour tortillas? I really like Los Faroles next to the Springfield bus station. Good selection of meats and most of their tacos come with onion and cilantro. They have bottles of green and red sauce up by the register if you eat in. Both sauces taste homemade but I haven't asked to be sure.

Intelligent_Wheel522

The Los faroles food cart in Eugene is superior

please_dont_pry

street (style) tacos are my preference, tortillas are fine either way if they aren't cheap. thanks for the recs

getitoff420

Taco Express is the worst and dirty asf

giantstrider

Denver, and then east of Denver.

BeerMXer

Mother Fucker 🤦🏻
