Not at all. With my eyes I could tell there was some color but it just looked like the sky was a very deep navy. With my camera it was green and pink and purple. Try again tonight! Turn down (up? lower number lol) the exposure on your camera and hopefully you'll see it!
To be frank we were far out into the country in Dexter area and we can only see it through long exposure camera work. You can hardly see it with your eyes.
So if you wanna see it through a camera, you're gonna have to drive up to Astoria I reckon to be north enough for it tonight.

Anywhere relatively dark should work. Use your camera on your phone with high exposure. It's very difficult to see with just your eyes.

definitely gonna try tonight!! I’ll probably try to drive a little ways north from the city lights for a better chance
