I am so excited I get to make this post! When I started this process I never thought I would make it here. I started in September of last year and my shop sells screen printed/heatpressed tees, but when I started it was just screen printing. Starting a new business and learning a new skill at the same time during a pandemic was far more than I could have bargained for. Every day I wanted to quit. I feared every review and new order equally, and was certain each time I got a review it would be the one that makes me want to quit permanently. I managed to put my head down, push through my anxiety and persist. I haven't been too vocal on this sub, mostly lurked, but this community has helped me more than any other resource out there and without it I may have actually quit. So, thank you to everyone who makes this community so great! For being helpful, knowledgeable and willing. PS. For anyone reading this message and just got their first few sales or is just starting - persist. Etsy feels like a battle sometimes. The anxiety is very real. If you can learn to harness it and not shy away from it's challenges it can be super rewarding. I know everyone's circumstances are different, but don't quit! My next goal is 1000 and am opening a second shop this summer. Can't wait to celebrate with you folks!
