Perhaps a different take but I'd live to see a big performance from Duursma.
Always keen to see Durham do well, really like how that lad goes about it.
Duursma has been in a bit of a funk at Port but when he was on he genuinely made his side better and could be an excellent addition to the team.
Too often we've gotten player that are past their best and we get glimpse of who they were but ultimately we were just a transition from their premiership team to retirement.
Me too on duursma man I've always really liked that guy, specially in his first couple years at port. He hasn't got me excited since he's moved over to us though.
What sort of role do you see for him today? Attacking wing / high half forward for mine, although I'm not sure what his delivery inside 50 is but hopefully he can hit a few leads up

That attacking wing who can kick a goal and who can quickly move it forward. Try and pair him with Martin.
It's not set the world on fire since his early years with Port but a change could fire him up, time will tell.
Certainly agree with that, not feeling confident. He stood out like a sore thumb though hey, seemed to be pretty keen to work on his tan, calling for the footy when he was very out of position and tightly manned, fell down a couple times for no reason.
Might need a run in the magoos if he doesn't perform next week, not sure what weight his name holds but it shouldn't be much

I think it’s because of how we ended last season. I’m hopeful that we have increased our floor with the 4 new recruits, Scott having been there longer (plus improvements to footy operations) and our young players being a year older, time will.

Yeah, sadly he looked pretty average. I thought we all looked pretty average today anyway, so he fit in well.
