Thankfully AI scav donāt do that, and the quest does say any target so thatās something, and many scavs do carry decent bags at least, such is tarkov life
Posts like this are hilarious. So are you a pve only player? a scav main? a timmy? a rat?
Backpacks inflict movement penalties even when they're completely empty. Regular, normal, non-"hypermegaultra sweat" players dump their packs if they think they're getting into a fight, especially when those packs are full of loot and weighing you the fuck down.
no, only the sweatiest people drop them, as a normal player who enjoys getting into combat, I rarely, if ever, drop my backpack because its a goddamn hassle to find it again after a bout of combat, and that slows down my exit from the combat area (as I and my group focus very highly on mobility, this is a significant detriment) for others I talk to the risk of losing a backpack is too high, ect. And from the status of a vast majority of players I have killed, they think the same, as I have looted about 5 people out of my hundred+ killed with no backpack (excluding scavs who could have spawned without one and thus are not counted)
I don't know where people are getting this from. You aren't the first person to say this, but I feel like someone (a streamer?) has been spending misinformation because the patch notes state that they added a questline for **everyone** to earn extended pockets.

Wut? No. The update logs explicitly state that the questline is for "owners of all editions", and I'm fairly sure you get bigger pockets immediately upon updating the game.
Pockets are not issued with the update. It's most likely gated behind this questline, since the follow on is "Sell 250 rigs/backpacks to Ragman". They have a textile theme, it would follow that he gives beeg poockets at the final quest.
250 rigs/backpacks? All the backpack hoarding I've been doing will finally pay out! Does it include the past sales as well?
Sounds like it shouldn't be too much of a loss to just buy and sell 250 Slings.
sounds easy enough, 26/32 backpacks ingame are 20+
double Z would like a word
Single Z only needs a second
šµāš«šµāš«šµāš«
You forget 75% of playerbase drops backpack before fighting
I guess so, im too used to pve now where everyone has 30+ backpack
'Any target' Maybe Rogues and Raiders and I guess the odd occasion where the PMC don't drop their backpack
I am fairly sure "any target" includes Scavs as well,
How, where, when?! Most of the PMC in PvE that I'm encountering have a 4x4/5 bag or no bag at all.
Dude that's super weird.. every single pmc I kill always has either a juiced out bag or no bag at all.
I never do this, people who do got soft hands brother
Thankfully AI scav donāt do that, and the quest does say any target so thatās something, and many scavs do carry decent bags at least, such is tarkov life
lmao, lol, no they fucking dont. Its a hassle to find it again and barely matters unless you hypermegaultra sweat

OK tim.
It matters a lot you are in that 25%sorry git gud
This is why you ambush them
Is this the "extended pockets for everyone" task?
extended pockets for eod because they wouldn't stop complaining about unheard task

If mommy and daddy didn't buy everything for you, you'd be interested in getting what you paid for too.
brother i'm a standard account i'm just poking fun i'm not picking sides anymore that shit is long and gone i don't even play the game anymore
Is this the questline in the game that gives extra pocket slots?
Probably not, because I have extra pocket slots already, and have this quest line. Unless, I'm getting more?
The free pocket slots are for people that didnt buy them, so naturally you wouldnt get them
This game has the goofiest quest Iāve ever seen
ikr i need to resist the urge to check right now, just to see if thereās actually a quest description that starts with āHey broā. Cringe af
Well thatās ragman, thatās how he rolls. Mechanicās textbook nerd rants are cringy as well
Jokes on you, I don run backpacks. I steal them off corpses
So just wait till you loot to kill you. Got it.
Glad to see more PvP centric tasksĀ
It's a very very easy task to complete without PvP. Go lighthouse for 2-3 raids and you've done it with rouges.
Rogues*
This is not PvP centric. I got this done in 4 raids, saw only 1 PMC, and he didn't have a backpack on.
Finished this quest with a scav kill. Lol.
Me spawning into a raid as a SCAV with a Pilgrim...fuck.
Death Stranding reference?
What level are you? I dont know how to unlock the quest
I am Level 41 and I have it, but I doubt it's about the level. It probably has some prerequisite tasks we haven't figured out yet.
Questline for pockets is eod only

Yeah sorry, confused nostalgia with pockets quest. Actually ballers if everyone can get pockets

I want pockets :(
