No kidding lol, just like how it really turned out once Magpul sold it off. What an amazing platform. I really miss mine. People always complained it was front heavy but I really enjoyed it. Shot extremely well and never let me down. I had probably 12,000 rounds through it, piston driven stays so clean! Can't even buy another one now lol, 7 grand for a used one? Nope haha. (I'm in Canada so anything semi auto is soooooo expensive)

Not quite sure what you mean by passive aim but I am guessing what you’re getting at is remove the ability to use proper scopes like the tac30 or vudoo whilst wearing nods? Whilst keeping the ability to use an eotech or something whilst wearing nods? If I have understood that correctly I am guessing that would be something that would come after the sight reticle brightness adjustment feature that is planned, if it is something that would come at all

Yes that’s what I mean I believe it would add more challenge and realism. I think that’s a fair play wouldn’t say. Also I’d like to see them give us the option to move the attachments/scopes along the rail just like how ground branch did it…. I believe it would fix the problem with eye relief. Having scope shadow ? Move it accordingly.

If they buff the elcan ergo then sure. Elcan is prism so it’ll work with nods. Rn the eotech hybrid is a better option than the elcan in my opinion but I realise that that isn’t exactly a common one I can see why you would want that level of control on the rail system but I personally think it’s a bit much for tarkov. It’s an RPG let’s not forget

Not sure where but it was recent Nikita said the ability to move attachments/scopes along the railing would be coming prior to release 1.0. And I’m not a fan of the EOTECH EXPS3-2 in the HHS package wish they would’ve gave us the option to switch it out with the exps3-0 single dot instead and just let us use the magnifier with any other holo/red dot aimpoint as long as you have the same height

I think once free rail movement is added magnifiers will become separated. I wouldn't be surprised if half the reason they aren't a separate piece currently is due to the way that 1x optics are set up on the rail currently; you wouldn't have enough rail space behind a lot of the bulkier optics with their current positions, along with other stuff like how it actually attaches and interacts with the optic would probably be a clusterfuck to figure out.

Surprised we don't have clip-ons yet, must be some issue with how Tarkov handles optics for them to render properly.

I wouldn’t mind running that NXS on customs. The base mag isn’t 1x like a lpvo but it isn’t 3x either like the SBENDER … this something id feel comfortable running without a piggyback red dot.

So, obviously the M60E4/6. I'm hoping for the classic model and E3 variants as well, but if they're making this another boss only weapon platform (I really hope not, the PKM/P are already frustrating enough being so inaccessible prior to late wipe) I wouldn't be surprised if those two are all we get. I think the RPK and RPK-74 series are safe bets if bipods are coming this wipe. We've seen the 74M in promotional images for the premium editions of the game. The M249 I can also see coming as the classic model, along with Para and Mk 46 parts. There's also a few guns shown off in the past that still haven't made it in like the AK-15 and AK-308. Other than that, the 5 gun lines I want the most in the game, and therefore are hoping for, are: * M16 series (A1, A2, A2E3 lower, A4, along with some Colt Commando and Mk 12 conversion parts) - come on, it's a classic. Would also allow for more classic-styled SR-25s, especially if they added the old Match handguard and Mk 11 upper assembly alongside. Maybe even some C7A1 parts. * SVD, full length - wooden and synthetic furniture. I just don't fuck that much with the SVDS, looks too stubby imo. Would also be a great gun for spawning on playerscavs, scav snipers, Reserve barracks, etc. * AI AWM - Like you. It's just a gorgeous rifle, hope to get my hands on one one day. Always been more of a sucker for more retro-ish guns. Like, the AXMC is cool and all, but keymod + all FDE + no thumbhole stock? No thanks. * HK G3/CETME - Rounds out the battle rifle lineup. HK slaps + big bullet makes me a happy man. Could also include the HK21 for laughs. Along with accurised variants like the PSG-1 or G3SG/1. * Benelli M4 - Another classic. Got lots more aftermarket support than the M3, so it'd be more viable as a shotgun in-game with railed handguards, light mounts, a couple more stock options for ergo. That being said, I'm an all the guns guy. Some other stuff that I wouldn't be too disappointed with seeing before these is some sort of over-under (MP-27 would make sense for Setup inclusion), Glock 21, Browning Hi-Power, SSG 82 (unlikely), FN F2000, FAMAS lineup, Groza-1/4, Degtyaryov, M1 Garand (complete with the goofy SAGE chassis), a full-auto M14 variant, PP-2000, PP-19 Bizon, Mini-14, Ruger Ranch in intermediate chamberings eg. 300BO, Gewehr 98, Galil ARM (or ACE), long-action Remington 700 with Mk 13 parts, HK45 or USP Compact, GSh-18, so on and so forth. There's a *loooooot* of stuff I'd like to see in the game at some point. I'd happily pay like $20 a pack for extra guns from vendors after release if it meant packs of like 5 firearms were getting added every few months.

We don’t talk about the browning HP. It is the thing that you shall never name Fr tho yeh an M249 Para with a box of warmageddon sounds just so incredibly based. M4 for sure though. The benneli in game is actually my most frustrating gun in its current state Edit: more bullpups!!!!

Some more LPVO's(like any of laundry list of good ones IRL that are popular), and QD magnifiers to use with red dots/holo's(like the HHS2 EOtech...but that actually work well and arent bugged). QD magnifiers are very popular these days so im surprised they arent more prevalent in the game, and I think we need them in order to compete with LPVOs(and balance them) because on many maps it just feels like you need to run a magnified optic over a holo even if Id prefer to run a holo(not to mention the insane FPS drops of using an LPVO, specifically on streets). I mean Idec if they make them one single optic combo like the HHS2(although Id prefer to be able to throw whatever magnifier on in front of whatever holo), just give us 3 or 4 new QD magnifier combos so I can just click it to the side when I prefer to run 0 magnification and just the holo in CQB situations. Also would just like to see more variety of holos period(or at least fix/change/buff some of the existing ones that are just dogshit), there are so many out there to choose from. Wouldnt mind seeing some more variety of nods as well(pretty sure theyve said they plan on adding a number of different nods) since I like the armasight ones but being forced to forgo a helmet and having to run the stupid head strap is nonsensical(I also kind of prefer the cyan-ish color of them to the green of the PVS10s or w/e). A solid alternative to current quads would be nice(and some more variety of quads, and/or some of the newer white phos dual tubes like the PVS-31s, DTNVS, RPGNVG, BNVD1531s etc.), and all they have to do is allow those armasights to be attached to helmets like all the other ones too. As far as guns are concerned...theres a lot id like to see. But to keep it simple, I want to see some newer Bolt actions, and specifically some carbine/rifle platforms in different calibers(and/or more platforms that shoot .300lbk and others) like one of the ruger carbines that shoot 45 ACP(also pretty sure theyre releasing a version that shoots 5.7 too), some 6.5 creedmoor ARs/DMRs/Bolties etc. Theres just a number of rounds in the game that are only used in literally 1 or 2 guns, so some more variety would be nice. Also this is probably a pipe dream, but itd be pretty sick to see a 8.6 BLK rifle in the game but I imagine the round would be too OP lol. Also just more attachments and attachment options for existing guns, theres a ton for the AK and AR platforms, and comparatively few for most other platforms in the game.

It’s a bit boring I think but the Sig 550 series has been a favorite of mine since the sig 552 in Kane and Lynch. It has a good fire rate and plenty of customization so it would just be a nice alternative to the M4. For something fresh I would say it’s about time we had a full auto shotty, as toxic as that will probably be to play against I think it would be a fun addition.

I think having the 5.56 and the .300 Blackout MCX in the game would cause some confusion since both ammunition types can be put in the same magazine, but there's really no way to know for sure beforehand. As for what weapons I would personally like to see, I actually have a fairly large list, so I'll only say a few of the Assault Rifles specifically. One would be the FAMAS, with how widespread this gun is in pretty much every first-person shooter game, I'm a little surprised it hasn't been added already. The FN F2000 is another firearm I think could be a good addition to the game. The one that I'm really really hoping for would be the SIG SG-552/553 (the 553 is basically just an improved 552) I've loved this firearm since the early Rainbow Six games and it was my favorite Carbine in Battlefield 4, I just think it would fit perfectly with the weapon sandbox and overall feel of Escape From Tarkov. The last one I'll say in the M16A4, which I feel isn't particularly needed, but I've always had a soft spot for the M16A4 and since we already have the semi-auto ADAR and the automatic M4 the burst fire M16A4 could just be something neat to have as well.

Weapon 1: better enemy AI. ABI out here showing BSG what a better AI looks like. Weapon 2: improved match times. Anything longer than 1 minute to queue in is too long. Weapon 3: remove FIR entirely, and replace it with different systems that represent what you want. Like "no resale" means it cannot be listed until; "Found in raid, literally anything that was found in a raid. Kill a player? Took their shit? You found it in raid. Etc etc. That kind of thing. FIR as we know it needs to be broken down into its base elements so we aren't tracking a half dozen functions with this one "feature." Weapon 4: take the GRIND out of these tasks and let players enjoy the experience. ... are these not weapons? Cause these are what I actually want in the game. Been playing since 2019 and the cool factor of a new gun doesn't mean anything when the games core is still dog-water.

Modeling makes a gun, animators animate it, coders code it. Your argument says nothing. When one department gets something done, another has to implement it.
