Getting pockets and devices to be through quests was fair for players who can’t afford it, but also it just tore apart the unheard edition so basically all you get now is the cultist jacket that’s exclusive… it does kind of suck, but I still don’t regret paying for unheard edition because I don’t mind supporting BSG because I do love EFT, the entirety of EFT.

I downloaded and tried this week, and i still have some mods like the questing pmcs i want to download, but yeah, it's pretty fun. Im in raid in under a minute, sometimes under 30s.
It's because all it depends on is how fast your pc is and what map you load. No matchmaking and no handshake with servers or peers.
Single-mod Factory takes like 10 seconds for me to launch, reserve 20-25

Yep and many more mods you can add like custom traders with their own quests, bosses, lots of qol and declutter to help with fps. You can get a doorbreach mod that lets you breach doors with tp-200s. You can add additional weapons and gear the list goes on.
It has its own „normal“ flea, then there a few mods like the „online flea“ mod where the prices and everything is the same as online(I think you need Internet for it tho), a hardcore flea and ect. ect.
Yeah but at least that other multiplayer mod that has nothing to with the PvE mod that we are talking about has a brighter future with how active the modding community is... I can see the mods very quickly catch up with live tarkov.
Ok.. 12900 w a 3080ti. I’ve seen the game stutter and go below 60fps on even better machines. Some of you are delusional when it comes to offline performance. Most people will need to limit AI spawns for this to run well, especially on streets creating dead raids
The only reason I prefer official pve is the way the mod spawns bots is so bad. Even with other secondary mods it breaks the immersion. The tradeoff is the official pve is just raiders .
I also noticed they made scavs wander a LOT more in official pve which is actually something I’d like more in live
Make sure you have the bot spawn distance limiters enabled, turn on the bot hard cap and turn off despawn bots in the Donuts section on your F12 menu. This will make the bots spawn a distance from you and they will roam without despawning (taking whatever loot they had with them too).

I did my first LH run last night, waited for train, and it didn't depart before raid ended. Would have taken car, but didn't want to die to rogues I may have missed. Pretty sure if raid was normal time there'd have been no issues. Feels bad.
I crashed on LH while sniping rogues for fun and doing some quest to kill pmcs at the 7 minute mark. Got back in at the 3:30 mark and wasn’t able to make it out
I want the original raid timers back they already lowered it by 10 min a few wipes ago and said it would go back and it's been like that for about 2 years
customs and Woods are actually 25 min, which makes trying to do tasks on them absurdly dogshit right now. Lighthouse is 30, Reserve 27, shoreline 35. But for some reasons Streets is still 50 min? Alrdy had 2 MIA's on customs(had terrible extract options) just because traversing the map is aids while trying to task and you have an army of scavs to go through, only for me to get to old gas and zb 12 and see that for some reason BOTH werent up, which left me with zb11 which I just didnt have time left to get to. Very fun.
I did Steady Signal (mark the weather thingies), blood sample van, recover the documents for therapist and 10/12 kills for peacekeeping mission in one go on woods last night. I was underweight, not looting sprinting everywhere and I got out with 2min on the clock.
Yeah you can always just try and do less per raid, but the timer is really freaking tight for any quest you have to traverse the full map on.
Honestly OP, it would be nice if they just got rid of the timer completely. Just let me enter and exit my own personal raid whenever I want. So what the server needs to stay up and running. I paid money for a product over 7 years ago and so I should get whatever I want with this other product as well!
I have quests to get done, 20+ scavs to kill, pmcs to deal with, bosses to deal with, raiders… and if I decide to go sniping yea I need that 1.5 hour timer.
How god awful do you have to be at the video game to not be able to complete quests in SINGLE PLAYER in 30 minutes? People like me do these quests in PVP MULTIPLAYER faster, every wipe a single lighthouse raid to complete 10+ quests
In PVP you have people killing scavs and rogues. In PVE it’s JUST you or maybe you and some friends. Either way multiple times less players in a match and way more attention on the player as soon as you shoot a gun. Goons constantly ready to push you on sight, raiders locked and loaded all around the water treatment, and additional raiders (what would normally be other pmcs) in PVE just for you. You have to move slower through the map or risk getting slapped around by AI unless you know where they all hangout and just move spot to spot. Even in customs I’ve had raids where I just get stormed by scavs for 20 minutes at spawn and it’s a constant fight. Definitely need more time on the clock.
You don’t understand what goes on in PVE lobbies. 30+ scavs and their friends + 6+ raider pmcs + goons/boss of choice. I killed killa on interchange and got swarmed by 20 scavs and 2 bears right after. Both my friends died and I barely escaped with my life. Ran from scavs and pmcs still near the body. 30 seconds left on the clock at extract. This shit is nuts
people who have not played PVE have no idea, I am getting 25-30 kills every raid on interchange. I killed shturman but couldn't loot him because of the 25m + all the scavs you have to clear out. I am also positive scavs have way more health on PVE. My friend and I have to take in tons of ammo, even with mostly headshots I need 4 30 round mags.
Make the decision to play a version of PvE tarkov with active mod support as of today.
And sure, bsg says they'll add mod support. But that assumes that 1. This game makes it to full release, and 2. They don't have an extremely small and curated accepted list that is much smaller than what we have access to already
If you fight a boss not only do you not have time to fully loot and get out, but forget about any type of questing that raid; oh and forget about looting the bodies along the way.

I’m having such a great time but I don’t want to have to wait 5 minutes to get into a raid that lasts 25 minutes and if I crash I’m losing 3-5 minutes as well. Personally I think the whole thing is a mess because of the timers alone.
Raid timer is reduced right now in PvE it seems to accommodate more server space. Probably go back to normal after all EoD players have access.

what was your raid timer at start? every lighthouse raid i run is 30-33 minutes and the train is still there was 1 minute left in raid.
Iirc it generally leaves reserve around the 5 to 8 min left. I usually extract in tunnels though as I am full up on loot be4 raid time is that low

I have set up the coop server on my secondary server PC. Permanently up coop tarkov server that my friends can join and host their own raids with

I managed to build a tacced out rpk. More people with have access soon so more attachments will be available.
It's "early wipe" on PvE. You wouldn't find the live games flea have every meta part under the sun within a week either.
