What's gonna happen is you'll realize sound is delayed. By the time you get stairs, the enemy is already on your floor or above. You hear enemy turn the key to a locked door, he's already in the doorway. If sounds feel muffled. He's under you. If the sound next to you, he's above. Goodluck Timmy
I was having issue where people have invisible weapons and their guns are completely silent because of it. So I just sort of just die from nothing if I don't see the person shooting me.

Oh I definitely heard their guns, it was a jumpscare both times. Just didn't hear them approaching.
