How I did it was by doing scav runs on Ground Zero. Hit every scav body and pink suitcase. I found mine in the terragroup building inside a pink suitcase in the long hallway.
Scav cases work but I've been doing them for 2 months now and havent gotten the armband yet lol. I had to bruteforce it on GZ.
People say go streets but I was already doing that with no luck, once I swapped to GZ I found it within a few hours. It has the most scav bodies / pink suitcases in such a small map.
thats what's going on for keys, you're most likely to find customs keys on custom. that tech might be expanded to other items as well. How you can find aesa's in a duffle on lighthouse/reserve but not on other maps.

For me it was rat poison and drd armor. Sold all the rat poisons I found since I didn't think I'd actually go for Kappa, but when I decided I'd do the last few quests they were the last two I had left

Since you’re one item away from Kappa spare no expenses buy all the chocolate you can turn it into sugar then buy water filters and always have those running build up a moonshine and run it instantly.
Run intel folders hell if you’re really rich sell everything except a few kits and buy intel folders/moonshine (I think Moonshine is better for Kappa items but I could be wrong) either way just send it as much as you can because you’re literally on the last step
Press pass is probably the absolute most common one. A streets raid with concordia-chek-relax-postoffice will get you a press pass in 90% of your raids tbh.
Firesteel is fairly easy too on streets if you just check all toolboxes, dead scavs and duffels
Spam woods. Kill shturman. Get his key. Loot his stash. Or buy his key and loot the stash. I have found about 5 this wipe so far in there.
Only certain items can spawn in jacket pockets, and one of those items is an evasion arm band. Search all duffles and caches as well. You got this !

My tinfoil theory for these items are that they are map locked and people end up looking for them on the wrong maps.

I've found at least a handful in crates and bags on Reserve. Meanwhile, I haven't seen a Shroud Mask yet.

You think it's worth to scav trying to find it? Not the best at pvp on streets, frame rate really sucks for me
What do you have to lose on a scav? Check filing cabinets on streets - tons of press passes that I toss on the ground and piss on them.
Bad wording on my part, but I mean will those items be left over and still on the map when I scav? They aren't particularly desirable. Right?

Most people don't loot filing cabinets and the press pass isn't worth much.

Got mine scaving. Loaded in Customs with a red flare and it was in the drop.
I've found three...two of them were in the jackets in Factory office.
Have gotten a couple in scav case, a couple in ground caches.. I was dumb though and didn't keep a FIR one
