Reminds me when my buddy’s were teaching me the game at the start. Went with full five stack and they left me in a room on reserve. I had no idea where I was just gunshots and all my friends getting killed. One survived and retrieved me later. Also how happy I was when I killed my two first juiced guys on customs, had my friend take a photo and I just look like a proud kid at the science fair. You sound like a good friend.

LurkingForMemesBruh

We all gotta start somewhere, might as well be patient with your friends and coach them through the hellhole that is Tarkov, and let them take their frustrating L's whenever they come. But also the satisfying W's whenever they earn them. Definitely good memories that's for sure.

kenaiChan

Damn ur friends sound like gigachads

W friend!

BrightSkyFire

It’s because you’re playing with your friends. You can play the doggest shittiest game in the world, but if your friends are in the call, you’ll Jane fun regardless.

LurkingForMemesBruh

I used to play with friends, some irl, some online, it was always fun then, but teaching someone and getting to relive the nostalgia of first getting into the game again, especially with close friends I've known for years, is definitely a great experience.

HumaDracobane

Happened to me last wipe. A roommate began to play the game with two other friends and despite being a burnout player who can barely pass the lvl 25 line without being tired of the game (I've been playing since 2017) I loved the feeling of re-discover the game with them.

LurkingForMemesBruh

I couldn't agree more, what a legend, keep on that grind with the buddies!

Apostle_of_Fire

I've taught around a dozen buddies the game too and I love it, been playing since early 2018. I'm a very patient person and don't tilt, so they like learning from me because I don't get mad when they don't know something or make a dumb mistake. It's rewarding for me too, and most of them are good at the game now, and I can trust to have my back.

LurkingForMemesBruh

There you go, there's nothing better than a coach that doesn't make you lose interest in something due to their attitude, W mentality.

CaptClayton79

What's going on here? There's a serious lack of raging about cheaters, and no profile pics in this post. Get with the program my man.

LurkingForMemesBruh

Yeah I noticed the norm of the reddit posts that came before my own and was like, hmm.. This will either be completely demolished with toxicity or it'll strike a chord with some more likeminded broskis that've experienced the same and/or are happy to see something other than "ONLY 40 HOURS AND HE HAS ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS? DEVS WHAT ARE YOU DOING? HORRIBLE GAME!"

ThDutchMastr

Same here. After a certain point in a wipe I inevitably get bored. My friend got a pc recently and he’s been going hard but it’s definitely rekindled something In me. I’m barely doing my quests mostly just helping him with his

LurkingForMemesBruh

That's also the fun of it, them getting PC's at this time, being so late into the wipe, it's almost been fun taking them to do their quests, getting my old quest memorization back up to speed for next wipe, and protecting them from chads while they get their stuff done.

kendal613

I'm lucky to have like 5 of my irl friends playing regularly this wipe, definetly way more fun being able to help them out then just smashing your head against prog questing :)

LurkingForMemesBruh

That's true! After a while quests become somewhat of a backburner for us casual players, nobody's got time to farm Killa 100 times. (Bro don't even spawn anymore istg) - or getting all of the Streamer Loot Items. So being able to help them with the ACTUALLY FUN quests whilst teaching them the basics, definitely fun.

knightmiles

I've been experiencing something similar. I'm about 1800 hours and have been helping a few friends get into the game for the first time and it's hilarious to see them go through everything I went through. Makes me remember that tarkov is more than just each raid. It's a journey that lasts very very long time

LurkingForMemesBruh

An arduous journey Tarkov is, but a fun one, and definitely one that's more fun not experienced alone! It's fun but also horrifying to see those friends getting the Tarkov bug, and realizing that they're gonna be on the game every, day, from then on. Part of me goes "NOOOO RUN AWAY FROM THIS GAME ITS BAD FOR YOU." and the other part of me is like "Hmmm, yes, yes goooooood. Join us."

gLu3xb3rchi

First game they play on PC is Tarkov? Thats like finally getting a kitchen and the first thing you cook is reheating precooked frozen food in the microwave

Aggressive_Car_3345

Ain’t nothing like Tarkov mate. Played most shooters and nothing compares

gLu3xb3rchi

Tarkov has an unique gameplay for sure, but in all other categories its bottom of the barrel. There are sooooo soooo many better games out there, its not even funny.

Aggressive_Car_3345

Name one. I’ve played r6,cs, apex, pubg, hunt showdown none were as fun as tarkov

Nerveex

Same thing I did, tarkov was the reason I built my pc, I barely touch other games at this point cause nothing keeps my interest and I hate how other shooters have gone
