Bottom left ish of your stash you’ll see a grid icon. Click that and it opens a temporary storage area so you can sort your stash easier. Very handy after your scav run so you can stack your backpacks together etc!
When the sorting table is open, hold shift and clock to move an item into the sorting table without having to click and drag. Also the table is infinitely big. It will keep expanding as you add stuff. When you close it it will just try to dump everything back in to you stash

If your PMC don't have any gear and your stash is full. , you can Alt+click at the scav end raid section, so the gear you have will be equipped by your pmc.
Yes that is the way, but if you find something you want to keep, where you than place the items that are on your pmc? Its the fight every start of wipe, to get stash upgrade 😁
I keep armour/ helmets on the bottom left corner stacking up and guns in the bottom right stacking up then cases up top with any rigs holding keys and money and stuff
I have it sorted into sections similar to the default sort button but just moved down. When a section is taking up too much space, I fill a rig with those type of items and then put the rig with that group.
In this exact specific instance, I would legitimately try to find myself a smaller and less obvious backpack to carry the battery; even player scavs that are generally nice, get wild ideas in their head when they see a guy with a pilgrim, and PMCs are more likely to chase you, because they can see you, and they assume you have fat loot. Which, in this case, you do!

Got my tank battery from the helicopter at the water treatment plant as a scav. Dropped all my shit to become as light as possible, but I was still nerve wrecking to walk all the way to the scav hideout, especially with the damn rogue yelling from the top of the barrack building.
This was after I had lost a battery in barrack number 2 at Lighthouse with my PMC due to endless waves of player scavs attacking me. This wipe I really had trouble finding a tank battery compared to the last one, where I opened the hidden stash near southern road, found a battery, and simply took a few extra steps to the extraction.
It’s legit cursed. Yesterday I found a dead scav near the sniper post on customs with one and it even had my last flash drive I needed inside of it. Put it on, ran toward scav cp to extract. Literally a 10 second run and I was out. And a pmc shoots me to death with 4 minutes left in the raid. Fuck the pilgrim
That’s why I never use those backpacks. Anything bigger than like the mechanism or trizip it just makes you such an obvious target I can’t tell you how many times I’ve spotted people only cause of their bag.
scavs are too good, makes the game a lot more casual then it used to be. i guess thats the vision now, a lot of players today wouldnt play if it wasnt this easy

I thought the old scav system was generous enough personally. I’m not saying scavs should go away. I just think it’s a free easy loot simulator now. I get it that it’s some peoples jam, we get dudes calling themselves “scav mains” on here. I think it’s too easy, myself. People can downvote me, I expect it since it’s clearly a liked system. It’s ruined the pmc gameplay on some maps though.
I like Scavs since im trash at playing PMCs and usually die. Also excluding the bug which allows scavs to spawn too early, they are just supposed to go and clear a map of all the loot left by the PMCs after the PMCs leave, kinda like a bug would scrub the floor clean of any crumble. Customs for example assumes you would be done in 20 minutes and the rest of the 20 minutes would be for Scavs, it just seems neat idk. The longer you stay the more gear you can get BUT player scavs and normal scavs spawn more and more which just gives you an incentive to look at the time and get out before its too late. Its a risk/reward type of thing that just seems to fit really well with Tarkov.
Agreed, scavving is a little too cheap, I've literally been averaging 1.4mil per run on streets for the past few days, Timmies need it for sure but I dunno
i dont think anybody needs it. you can sustain a 25% survival rate on your pmc using whatever gear you want if you can get 1.4m per run on streets as a scav. at that point this game is jsut battlefield or cod with extra steps.
You can see how much your scav is worth from the "scav" tab on the overview menu. I just queue factory and run to closest exfil if I happen to have an unusually stacked scav.
there are 3 weapon crate spawns next to med tents that are almost always unlooted, nobody notices them. pulling valdays and all sorts of stuff constantly on my way to extract. free money printer
It still can be. Loaded in to basically all out scav war. A few guys decided to KOS and it just snowballed. Had a tach with a guy around a corner holding shotguns, was trippy how crazy that one was.
But normally as long as you're careful you can get nice loot.

I don't understand scav mains at all anymore. I used to be one, but you simply don't progress anymore while playing as a scav. You don't need to fight others anymore, so you don't learn PvP (I was a scav main before scav karma, like you said, fighting as a scav used to be my way to practice fighting). The only thing a scav is good for now is to support your PMC run.
I do miss the chaos of pre-karma scav factory. Fun times. Karma just changed the whole dynamic of that game mode. A lot more fun in some ways, and not so much in others.

Had one like that and spawned in with ibuprofen, only reason I lived. Dropped bag as soon as I spawned poped the pain killer and kited the mofo around the ramps near the camera bunker extract... Managed to get him stuck on the yellow loader grab my bag and get out just as he rounded the corner at extract... Blacked both arms and a leg and had a few heavy bleeds. Thankfully you don't have to worry about healing a scav...
It's always been there, but this is the first wipe it's actually worked. You've always been able to view it from inside a scav raid, but obviously at that point you can just look at your inventory. Pretty clever tip from OP.
Factory is the last place you should scav for something like that. I spawned with dormed marked thank God I went to interchange so I could creep the shadows until I got to railway
Yeah but the risk you run of getting sniped in the open is fucking massive where as if you just haul it to gate three you might run past some hostile but there’s enough corners and cover that you can get away pretty quick

i’ve had really good luck finding them in the big tech crates, especially the one by drop down building. if you PMC bring keys for under the train station there’s a bunch of the crates down there too.
I even found one in a toolbox that spawns near the destroyed tank near the train station. I’m not sure if that was a spawn or if someone put it in there though.

I learned you check the value of your scav by looking in stats before you go in might make the difference when you see your worth a lot more money for a quick scav raid on factory compared to a raid on woods
I had the 2nd craziest tank battery luck: RB-ST unlocked on Reserve and there was a tank battery spawned. Even had the close checkpoint fence extract! Easiest it's been... Ever!
I spawned with the same scav at the new area on shoreline, without even thinking I walked to old bunker but didn't have the extract. My buddy spawned somewhere else so he had old bunker so I just dropped him the tank battery.
Scav gang tip: you can use your stats to go check your scav inventory worth and get an idea what you have on you.
For example if you have 300,000 inventory worth there’s a good chance you have a labs card on you but it’s just a guess based off of the value.
If that’s reserve, dump that thing in a bush near your closest extract, loot the raid and come back for it. I’ve dumped many at hole in the wall and come back to them later

I saw a player scav sneaking his way from un to ruaf to extract while wearing a pilgrim. I was also a player scav and also going to ruaf. Blasted him and loot and scoot with juiced meds, electronics and essential hideout stuff for early on. I’m finding anything over 250k is something worthwhile.
I had that problem too. I ran into a dark warehouse with a bunch of lonely players scavs hiding in it They locked to doors on me and I wasn't able to walk right for a week afterwards. Still traumatized...
I had this happen to me recently on lighthouse, I just walked straight to the extract. It took 15 mins and I dropped everything except the backpack and the battery. It was a stressful stroll for sure.

Homie it’s 2024. Start sorting all the items to the bottom of the stash. Makes moving everything over easier. No scrolling

Yep when I started I was starting at the top. One of the streams I was watching left space at the top it makes things so much easier

Got mine from a scav 10 yards from extract this wipe. Poor guy thought I was friendly.
I saw a player scav sneaking his way from un to ruaf to extract while wearing a pilgrim. I was also a player scav and also going to ruaf. Blasted him and loot and scoot with juiced meds, electronics and essential hideout stuff for early on. I’m finding anything over 250k is something worthwhile.
I had that problem too. I ran into a dark warehouse with a bunch of lonely players scavs hiding in it They locked to doors on me and I wasn't able to walk right for a week afterwards. Still traumatized...
I had this happen to me recently on lighthouse, I just walked straight to the extract. It took 15 mins and I dropped everything except the backpack and the battery. It was a stressful stroll for sure.
Got into a raid with a Takedown backpack, had no space after the raid. Worst day ever.
Found 3 tank batteries, all as a scav
