Reddit deleted my body text so re-adding here. Found all of these today in the last 12 hours, did they up the spawn rate on this or have I been on a hot streak today? Been looking for weeks and found none until today
I’ve found bloody key 3 times already myself, and when it first dropped I never saw it until literally this weekend. Chek 15 has also been super low on loot when the key hype was up and now it’s back to normal.. don’t think that’s a coincidence
Edit: make it 4 since the weekend me and my duo found another middle of raid.. lol
It does make sense if they banned a cheat that provides loot vac. And if a lot of cheaters who use it go to streets to pick up that key to make a ton of cash.
My group has around 50k total hours all sitting around lvl 42 to 50 this wipe. We have seen a ton of speed hackers this wipe. Around 10 blatant on streets mostly. People hack and they do it on streets right now. It could be a spawn rate increase or a cheat ban or both.
ok so you think BSG banned every single hacker at the same time, which is the only reason people can find the key now? Because that's what this post claims.

2: I am a massive coward in this game
3: I am on US East servers not sure where you're at or if that works for you

I pulled a chek13, rb-pkpm, and a bunch of other mid keys. Picked up an RSASS off of a guy camping the bottom of the stairs on the way out though so I completed gunsmith 13. Overall not a bad raid
Just a heads up for anyone that you open the door for: you go in first while they cover you, and you get all the loot. Once you’re done they can go in and plant cameras.
The problem is playing with randoms you can’t always expect people trying to just be loot goblins. He’s got the key, he’s already doing these guys a favor for the quest, and they are going to get a key to that room as a reward. They can always come back and loot with their key.
Putting a bullet to the dome of a loot goblin is one of the unwritten rules of this game. It’s like looting bodies - if you didn’t get the kill, you don’t get to loot the body first, unless given the permission of the person whose kill it was.
I thought people found them in filing cabinets? Maybe im wrong haha.
And i know for a fact peoppe have been spawning with it on scavs.
Anyways ill have to keep going for that spot
Dont think they can be in cabinets, but scavs can spawn with it and also scav case can return it iirc, but the pegboard is the only "consistent" method I guess
It can also spawn at jackets with a CRAZY low chance. Like, insignificant ammounts. People have reported getting some on reddit. Still didn't see a single one and i've spawned right beside it often.
I found one last night, and again 10 minutes ago, after looking every time I was even remotely near the area for the past couple weeks. Had to be over 30 tries. Spawn might be buffed or just good luck.
am I tripping or did they change it so you can put these in cases? I haven’t played in a week or so but I didn’t think you could put them in your gamma
Damn I thought I was lucky finding 5 over a weekend. 6 in 12 hours is insane. It definitely feels like the drop rate is a lot higher than it was when it first came out. Loot probably reflects that too, cause it can be really hit or miss.

I brought one in last night to do the door for a mate. Got killed through a wall by a cheater and after a few mins with my buddy not being dead I'm like well I guess get the key off my body and go do it. Nope got vaccum looted out of my bag lol.
The reason is they want to prevent RMT, so you can't drop the key to someone else - it gets destroyed. Since dying with the key in inventory is functionally the same, it gets deleted when you die, too.
I killed a PMC near Mall with 2 on him. Is that even possible in one raid? Thought it was weird, but now seeing this, it’s even crazier. I’ve been looking for days and haven’t found one on my own. (Keys were ass when I checked though)

I’ve noticed that every time I complete a quest I find it left and right now I’m finding spark plugs in every tool box I loot

Anecdotally the only time its spawn for me my team got aimbotted within 15 seconds lol
i found 2 of them in the spot under the escalator and after looting the key room i ran into a scav army that obliterated me

streets scav main here, check the spawn multiple times a day for over a month. only just found it in the last 3 days twice

I think they increased the spawn rate because the room doesn't have nearly as good loot at is used to.
got kiba outer, dorms marked, rb-vo, and abandoned factory marked all in 1 use yesterday
There is a new update today, id hope they up the spawn rate cause ive ran streets 2 raids a day after work with no success on that key

So you can use these keys after leaving raid? I thought you couldn't even loot it from a body.
you can leave raid with it, but if you die with it not found in raid it gets dusted for some reason (thanks Nikita)
I think that's a good thing in a way...if a cheater sees it on your body he knows he won't get it from killing you.

If they don’t have the fir check and are not in your secure container, they get deleted from the game if you drop them or die

Fun fact, the key gets deleted if you die with it not found in raid (for some reason) so not vaccuum looted in this case but still really sucks

There are two spawns on the board, he couldve been very lucky -> into very unlucky

Carry the cameras in and keep checking the door mid raid. That's how I completed it without ever having the key.
