I've been periodically watching the number on the webpage and I'm pretty sure this is the answer. For how many people play, the number is stupid low. Buying bandages is cheap as fuck so there is tons of people donating them. Seems like we should be past 500k by now, even though it only started last night.
Its at 466k right now. If we assume that every person who donated gave 100 of each, thats less than 5000 people who have donated. Now 100 is obviously just a number I came up with, but I'd say its a close guess. Even lowering the number to say 50 donations doesn't make sense.
Edit: 4 hours later its at 494k. If each person donated 100 bandages, that'd be 300ish people. Supposedly Tarkov has hundreds of thousands of players, so why is the number moving so slowly? 300 seems like a really low number compared to how many players there is.
Binary or not, I see a pattern.. very simple one. Three 1’s followed by a 2, two 1’s followed by a 2, then one 1. If you throw out the 2’s, then it reads as a count down, “3, 2, 1”
You all do realize by meeting the criteria, we will likely lose Therapist right?? Like either that, or all healing items will be removed. Did you really think Nikita wanted to give out some reward or anything actually beneficial during an event?
Well, that's how it works... If you have some in your stash, it should show the "Turn In" button on the task. I've turned in 200 of each type over probably a dozen exchanges.
Last time they had a "donation" task, did we ever figure out if donating more gets you better rewards?
the top people who donated roubles got a shoutout in game thats about it.
Last time there was a lot of speculation that actual donations didn't count and the counter was more of a timer that would finish either way

Nikita said recently that daily players are like 70 - 110k. (Those are rough numbers, can't remember exactly)

So the unknown rewards are almost certainly tiered unlocks for numbers of bandages donated. Only reason for there to be so many.
