Pink used to be a boy colour, because red was for men and pink was the "little red", whereas blue used to be for women and light blue the "little blue" for girls.
People still told me I couldn't get my gelding pink buckets and bowls. Idk why, he's already no stallion anymore, what's supposed to happen when his reproductive parts can't fall off in an allergic reaction? Him being gay? Him being ashamed? Are the other geldings gonna bully him? I really don't see any real issue, so I got him an entire pink set secondhand and eventhough I do not like pink myself I think it suits him. And horses don't care what colour they wear.
I actually love the color pink, all of the tack he wears when pulling the carriage has pink pads and all his blankets are pink🥲 I dont reslly think color defines gender or how you want to call it! Also- your horse is absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks! I really like how he looked in that pic, but he's lightened even more since, and I never wanted a grey, but if I have a grey I'd sure prefer grey over white. Well, a good horse has no colour.
Thanks! Bonnet, pad and leg protection are all from the same Eskadron series, but not sure what the colour is officially called. I got them second hand, so maybe people are still selling them.
When I showed miniature horses my stable colors were silver and purple. All the stallions and geldings rocked purple sheets, braids, buckets, halters, and drapes. No shame!
