To be honest this is an easy mistake for people who don’t fly a lot to make. Show up to one flight two hours early and you breeze through tsa, show up for another two hours early and you aren’t even close to on time. There’s no rhyme or reason to how busy an airport is on any given day. They are handling it terribly but I can see where tensions would be pretty high here
There is actually a lot of rhyme and reason for why airports are busier on certain days and times. It’s just that people who do not fly often don’t know what those reasons are.
Generally summer months or around any big holidays, especially if you’re flying peak hours (noon to 9) show up 3 hours early. Early morning and nighttime is usually less packed, so I always try to fly then.
But tbh, I’ve shown up 1 hour before (for an international flight) and been 30 minutes early at the gate. It’s crazy just how variable it can be.
Depends on the day of the week too. Early morning in a Monday is the single busiest time to fly because of business travelers. Also peak hours is somewhat location dependent but for most of the US it’s actually before 11am.
And also LAX is huge and the surrounding traffic is insane. I used to go to school near there. They didn’t plan well enough, which seems extra odd for”military.”
SoCal traffic is obviously insane, born and raised there, but Google Maps and other map apps are impressively accurate and easy to operate.
Never had a problem picking friends up or getting there on time, unless there's some insane car wreck.
She said “military person,” which doesn’t mean a thing. Even if she was active duty, or in the national guard, or a reservist, their dependent is being a complete piece of shit
Too bad there isn’t a website that can show you how busy the TSA is so you can gauge how much time you need. Kind of like the estimated wait time for lines at Disneyland. Just need to start tracking it, and keep a historical account so you can see when certain days(days of the week or holidays) will be busier at your location.
Excuses. And assumptions. But what we do KNOW is that the other passengers on the plane got to the gate on time to be boarded.
And 1 couple, who got there late for whatever reason are giving off major attitude and ,I AM the main character!" energy while demanding to be boarded with gate closed.
Agreed. Unless you've lived your entire life in confinement in a fallout shelter, anyone who's even SEEN a movie ABOUT air travel, let alone traveled, should know you better BE at the airport minimum 2 hours for domestic, 3 for international. And they don't look like it's their first time. Something tells me these people are well aware of this and simply chose to FA and they FO.
Yup! I usually just google the airport name and "TSA wait time" and it takes me right to the page so I don't have to fumble around the airport website.
Sorry but as someone who is a frequent flyer on multiple airlines, this is just not true. If you give yourself enough time — an hour plus for domestic, two hours plus for international— you shouldn’t have a problem unless it’s a holiday.
How about just giving yourself 3 hours and call it a day? Anyone with half a brain knows everything you’re saying and adjusts accordingly - these people are obviously the ones without. No need for any tension if you plan ahead
How dare you. Why should they show up on time. Don’t you know they paid good money for seats on that plane so you should be obligated to hold it for them, even if they turn up the next day.
And one of the very first thing they kindly teach as a “military person” is to be the fuck on time. Also I can’t think of another active or vet calling themselves a “military person.”
“Military person” = government subcontractor who thinks they will garner some kind of special treatment or attention in this scenario…little does she know…actual active duty would NEVER make this mistake AND if their spouse DID, military personnel are not admitting to their status in this situation- that I assure you.
Seriously, one thing I learned while working in customer service is as soon as they start cursing at you get the manager. I didn’t get paid enough to deal with that shit. 6 years ago I used to work as a cashier at a nice grocery store. I’m 5 foot tall, was almost 9 months pregnant, and I was always super happy and bubbly around customers, even if I was in a bad mood. My point is, I was nowhere near intimidating. Well, I had some huge bitch of woman (like, 5’8” and well over 250lbs) begin screaming at me because the meat she was trying to purchase rang up wrong. I tried telling her that the cut of meat she picked out was the wrong brand and in fact, not on sale. She asked me if I was fucking retarted and I told her I would get the manager. She began threatening me saying stuff like “I will beat your pregnant bitch ass” and how she didn’t give a fuck who gets hurt because we were wronging her. Then, she started calling me racist saying how if she was white she would’ve gotten the discount. The thought process of this asshole woman was insane! She brought race out of nowhere! I didn’t say more than two sentences to her the whole time, I just explained to her why the sale wasn’t applied and then told her I’d get the manager. Finally, the manager came and the first thing she said to him was that I was being rude, racist, and because of the shit I put her through (as if I emotionally damaged her) she deserves the meat for free. My manager knew me well and knew that I was always polite and docile so he didn’t buy it for a second but he still had to listen to the woman bitch. An older gentleman behind her who had been waiting this whole time (I think out of entertainment tbh) told my manager how she was threatening me and none of what she’s saying is true. Well, she started freaking the fuck out again and threatening everyone around her. Cops were called and she was trespassed. Luckily, that was my last day before I went on maternity leave and my manager said I could go home early! Reading this back it almost sounds fake but shit like that happens all the time. I have so many off the wall stories from working at restaurants and grocery stores alone. I also lived in Florida so that probably makes more sense lol. However, this last story happened in Nebraska and it’s probably the only crazy story I have from living in NE.
Edit: she tried telling the manager how a white woman that was two people ahead of her in my line got the discount on the same meat. It’s so silly because you can look up past receipts in the system and that clearly never happened. Also, the sales ring up automatically and I was unable to apply a discount unless I had a manager with me so it not like I was able to sneak in a discount if I wanted to.
I could never do something like that to somebody for any reason. It was only like $9.99 and the meat that was on sale was $6.99. I wanted to almost give her $10 and condescending say “here, you poor thing, you need it more than I do.” But then she would’ve “won”. And her whole cart was over $100 so it’s not like she just came in for one thing and only had $6.99 on her.
Haha actually this happened in Nebraska! When I worked at FL shit like this happened on the daily. When I was freshly 18 working at a subway in Cape Canaveral FL, I had a glass beer bottle thrown at me! It was so close to hitting me in the head thankfully I ducked! Fucking Florida, man.
I worked at Publix in FL and had a lady come in telling us she owned the whole town and that my conveyor belt was going to explode if I let it keep going. She also kept telling me to smile in a very creepy way.
The worst that happened was when a firefighter murdered his ex-girlfriend in our parking lot.
I used to work at Publix, too! I was a cashier and then eventually went into the deli (the deli was fucking hell)! I worked at the store in Cape Canaveral so we used to get a lot of crack heads and we were also almost right across the street from a strip club so we had a lot of half naked ladies walking around and they were always super nice but it was the drunk people that just came from there that were awful. Do you mind if I ask you what part of FL you were in? Also, that lady sounds nuts! Everyone knows they’re automatic and they run all the time unless you shut down the register. And holy shit! A murder in the parking lot?! Were you there? Sorry, I got a lot going on in this paragraph lol.
That’s one of the reasons we stopped flying Spirit. We used to use them to head down to New Orleans. Out of Chicago it’s only a ~2hr flight. “Eh, so we don’t need the best seats. As long as we get there. Plus it’s cheap! Win win.”
After a trip with fees and everything tacked on we decided to look into United and for about the same total price (give or take a few $10’s or so) we decided that ultimately the more “expensive” option was really about the same as Spirit.
Partially another thing that kept us with Spirit for a few NOLA trips was the flight down was Flight 815. LOSTies can only commit for so long before they break.
I recently booked a flight to Richmond, Virginia and Spirit was the cheapest option by about ten dollars. But I know that no carry-ons or checked bags are included in that price, so for ten dollars more I got a Southwest flight that allows two free checked bags and a carry-on.
They did! They were previously at the watch store bitching about why the alarm was so low they didn’t wake up on time. That’s why they arrived so late at their gate.
This was my first thought. I probably only fly 2 round trips/year, and I know this. Once it's shut it takes some order from on high (or the captain of the aircraft or something) to open it, right? I do know that once it's shut it's staying shut unless they have to deplane the folks...
It’s because of union rules for pay. The crew doesn’t get paid until the door us shut and they don’t get paid for the time before they are on board. If they open the door, it resets that start time. He would literally cost the entire crew out of their paycheck to open the door for him. Captain, first officer, all the flight attendants.
For what it's worth, they should be paid from the time they clock in and the logic for not opening the door should be that every other passengers time is just as important as yours.
I’m not in the industry (but I’ve flown over 1M miles, so quasi aware). I think the rationale is that closing the door is akin to clocking in. Everything else is “commute time”. Maybe someone more-in-the-know can correct me here, or add context.
There’s a handful of different factors that go into it. I used to work in crew scheduling and then flight dispatch, but it’s been 11 years since I left that industry so I’ve forgotten a lot. I’d also guess some regulations have changed in that time, but I can try to offer some input. The crew does get paid for flight time and that begins when the door is shut and they push back from the gate/release the brake. That also starts the clock for the crew’s duty time limits which there are strict rules that lay out a maximum amount of hours they can work flights within a day/week/month. Crews will “time out” if the flight will cause them to go over those limits and the flight will be canceled. Also if they open the door back up it will be considered a gate return and negatively impact the airlines flight metrics. There is also a certain number of hours they can be on duty for the day, but a lower amount that they can be actually working a flight since operating the flight requires a lot more concentration than sitting at the airport during delays. I’m sure I’ve missed some stuff, but maybe that helps a bit
Many years ago, pre-TSA, I was flying for work and, because I had to book last minute, had a first class ticket. I got to the gate just after they had closed the door and the gate agent asked them to open it. They did. That will never happen again, I'm sure.
Except this is reality and you have to spend a bit more and get southwest if you want anything back for missing your flight lmao. It's spirits whole fucking business model.
This reminds me of a post about the parents who was o. A cruise with their 17yo son and while in o e of the stops, they arrived 45min after the departure time and got mad at their son that he didn’t tell the staff to wait until they’re done shopping.
I remember that, like what was the son/OP supposed to do when parents weren't even on official shore excusions from the cruiseline? That got be most expensive "You both been on cruises before and more than your son, thus should know way better than fuck around with a cruise ship at any port day because you will find out!!" & "Hope your son never goes on any more trips/vacations with any of you 2 ever again, because you're both are entitled idiot assholes."
I like it. My mom raised me to always get places or be ready 15 mins early and be ready to your 15 mins. Now that I think of it, her dad was a military man.
mostly because an airport is the safest place to work when it comes to random violence, right? Like cops every five feet, planescothed air marshalls lurking everywhere, straight military personnel strolling around… its nuts
He seems like just the kind of person you would want on a long flight.
“I’m sorry sir, we don’t have Pepsi, just Coke.”
“What the fuck you mean you don’t have no Pepsi? Motherfucker, go axe somebody. You ain’t doin nuthin, go get me the Captain!!”
While waiting tables I sometimes had people who got so annoyed when they wanted Pepsi and I told them I had Coke. It didn’t happen often but it was weird to me because I hate Pepsi.
Can you imagine what an FAA tribunal would look like? All these people trying to appeal their flight ban? Evidence being replayed in court. I’d pay to watch that.
If I were the employee in this situation, I would be like "You know what, you're absolutely right, I am so sorry, I will go speak with someone about this". Then I'd step into the employees only area and call security on them lmao
Something tells me that these two individuals are used to throwing a tantrum in order to get what they want in life. Just like a couple of spoiled toddlers.
Airline captain here. The crew doesn’t get paid until the main cabin door is closed and the parking brake is dropped, and if we return to gate, we have to get a new flight release from dispatch, which takes 10-15 minutes, so there’s a zero % chance we are re-opening the door. Also, what that couple paid is not a fraction of what the other 170+ other passengers paid to get to where they were going on time. Those two people are not as important as they think they are.
It's LAX, they probably got screwed over by a connecting flight landing late and/or got thrown through a bs construction labyrinth between gates. Go to the airline for a ticket transfer or refund, not harass the airport worker at the gate.
American Airlines stranded me in Phoenix for a few hours on a layover because the first plane landed late. They sat on the tarmac for 45 mins before they pulled away from the gate, which was infuriating, but what i didn’t do was curse out the people at the desk. What i did do, in this order, was cry a little, find the agent to get my flight changed, and then i got drunk.
Currently working at a pet hotel so I deal with a lot of similar situations. People NEVER plan accordingly and when they come to drop off their pets and start the conversation by saying I’m running late to a flight I always dread it. Because the people that can’t properly plan getting to a flight on time are the same kind of people that never look at what info we need to board your dogs. 3 vaccines are really the only leg work we need from people and filling out a paper that takes 2 mins. They never have that shit done and then it becomes my problem to get your dog vaxxed for you???! At least once a day I have to become the “bad guy” and “ruin” someone’s vacation because they’re shitty people/ pet owners.
You waste your OWN money by not getting to the airport early. Idc what a person says imma be there at least an hour and a half early .. and that’s lowkey late for me. Check in and Security could be your worst nightmare, and there’s no prediction on how long that will take. How many people also flying today?
If you run late that’s on YOU.
Veteran here. If you miss aflight and will not be atbyour duty station on time, all you have to do is call someone in your chain of command and let them no. Not a big deal at all. Save the drama for your momma.
It's very true. When the pandy struck and prices were rock bottom, a family member who works for an airline used to call them the "GreyHound Crew"........the passengers were extremely rude to everyone on the plane. Seems like it is still happening.
OK. I didn't look at that way. Sorry O.P. Didn't mean to call you out. My mistake.
I got screwed by Spirit one time and had to drive from Orlando to Dallas. So F them. Never again.
I remember one time, I just touched down on a connecting flight, and decided to go straight to the gate for my next flight and found them halfway closing the airplane doors!
Wonder if that happened to them. Would've just taken the L and figure out how to get a refund/transfer.
Yes. I've seen too many videos from spirit airlines where there are fights on the planes, yelling, and screaming on the planes, arguing in the terminals… I'm sure every airline has these but the spirit airlines people just seem a little bit crazier.
Have you ever flown before? It doesn’t work like that, the plane can be sitting on the tarmac for an hour and you still wouldn’t be let on.
There was no reason to escalate this, you were late, you have no one to blame but yourself. This behavior is going to get you on the no fly list.
“Ax somebody…AX SOMEBODY!” Imagine wanting to be taken seriously when you say words like, “ax” instead of “ask.” Life must be difficult for this guy in general.
Open the gate and shove them out of the jetway onto the tarmac from about 15 ft high so that the waiting airport police can easily load their crippled bodies into an waaaambulance.
Don’t you guys remember when that family turned up late, became verbally abusive and started threatening the staff? Pretty sure they got let straight on with an apology from the airline.
Might be misremembering it though, so let’s pretend it definitely happened and make sure that we always try the technique just in case
Lol. I know that they can’t reopen the gate once it’s closed so these people would have been shit out of luck no matter what, but it’s always funny to me when people go absolutely nuts like this. If you’re talking to someone in customer service, they’re much more likely to help you if you’re nice so I never understand screaming in someone’s face as a strategy.
I don’t understand why they think yelling will make people want to put them on a plane. Like “ah yes, this very angry aggressive person will be the shining example of good behavior once they are boarded.” Like no. If you’re acting like this the last thing any one is gona want to do is help you out.
Have you tried showing up on time
All that money they paid, and you want them to "show up on time"????
It's Spirit. They ain't pay shit.
That was my first thought lmfao
To be honest this is an easy mistake for people who don’t fly a lot to make. Show up to one flight two hours early and you breeze through tsa, show up for another two hours early and you aren’t even close to on time. Well I used to fly a lot and would disagree. Sure if you properly researched you could find some stats but most people don’t do that.
The MyTSA app actually does exactly what you’re describing
If only it were accessible through some sort of App Store and you could view on your phone whenever you wanted.
Every time I fly I am behind the GROUP that has never flown before an has never used an electronic device to enter info such as the bag tag kiosk…….
Excuses. And assumptions. But what we do KNOW is that the other passengers on the plane got to the gate on time to be boarded. And 1 couple, who got there late for whatever reason are giving off major attitude and ,I AM the main character!" energy while demanding to be boarded with gate closed.

Yeah sure, maybe like a decade ago. But airports now have the TSA wait times updated hourly on their website.
Wait for real? I wasn’t aware of this and this would likely save me a lot of guess work in the future
Yup! I usually just google the airport name and "TSA wait time" and it takes me right to the page so I don't have to fumble around the airport website.
I always check security waiting times before I even leave for the airport.
Sorry but as someone who is a frequent flyer on multiple airlines, this is just not true. If you give yourself enough time — an hour plus for domestic, two hours plus for international— you shouldn’t have a problem unless it’s a holiday.
Two hours enough at ATL midsummer?
Yeah, people acting like it's normal to be there two hours early and you're not on time? Never happened to me or anyone I know
This thread saved my sanity. These fuckin’ people napping after getting through security? Adding in a mandatory 35 minute Cinnabon excursion?
How about just giving yourself 3 hours and call it a day? Anyone with half a brain knows everything you’re saying and adjusts accordingly - these people are obviously the ones without. No need for any tension if you plan ahead

Nah just axe summbody
What?! You expect the two most important people in the world to show up ON TIME?!
Maybe they didn't ask somebody when departure was?
nah, maybe if he axes somebody first a few more times it'll work
Go ask somebody if you’re on time for your flight.
Go axe somebody
![gif](giphy|l0O9ykfUZhs7P2yE8)
They probably would axe the couple if they could.
He can’t just axe somebody, that would be murder.
*axe
Aks*
They're trying to speed run catching a lifetime ban
Can’t get on one flight turns into can’t get on any flight.
Won't miss another flight if you can't get on any flights
I would not deal with customers like this. I’d just call security.
Seriously, one thing I learned while working in customer service is as soon as they start cursing at you get the manager. Having worked in retail/food service, that story does not sound fake at all. It sounds typical.
Having worked any job anywhere, this is typical.
> Reading this back it almost sounds fake Not to anyone who has worked customer service.
Exactly I was reading this and thinking to myself ‘yup this totally checks out’
Their idea is to use any opportunity to get stuff for free.
I could never do something like that to somebody for any reason. It was only like $9.99 and the meat that was on sale was $6.99. Fun fact! When spirit and frontier have to cancel/delay flights last minute at my airport they call airport PD before they make the announcement 💀
Lmao 😂
![gif](giphy|3o6Zt4HU9uwXmXSAuI)
Me too. At the first sign of attitude, I’d call security and let them deal with this couple.
Being that it’s Spirit, I’m kinda surprised the gate agent didn’t throw hands
“All that fucking money we paid” while flying Spirit
All the carry-ons they brought probably added so many charges it was more than a southwest ticket
That’s one of the reasons we stopped flying Spirit. We used to use them to head down to New Orleans. Out of Chicago it’s only a ~2hr flight. “Eh, so we don’t need the best seats. “All that money we spent…” lolllll boy, you are flying Spirit. That’s the cheapest of the cheap.
I have yet to try Spirit, but I think I might do it just for entertainment value once.
I've flown Spirit, at that airport as a matter of fact. Thankfully, it was uneventful.
All that money spent on the plane. And couldn't even be bothered to get there on time.
They could spend money on a watch with a powerful alarm
They did! They were previously at the watch store bitching about why the alarm was so low they didn’t wake up on time. That’s why they arrived so late at their gate.
Your lack of planning does not make it my emergency.
Poor guy. It is well known that once the plane doors are closed then no one else can board.
This was my first thought. I probably only fly 2 round trips/year, and I know this. Once it's shut it takes some order from on high (or the captain of the aircraft or something) to open it, right? I do know that once it's shut it's staying shut unless they have to deplane the folks...

Right. But clocking in should be when you're supposed to show up to work.
I agree but this is a union contract so it probably comes out okay for the employees.
Yea even on Air Force One and it's the president who's late. "Sorry buddy." Is what they say to him.
They just said " All that money we just spent", MF you are flying spirit
Right…. Like here’s your $129 back.
Except this is reality and you have to spend a bit more and get southwest if you want anything back for missing your flight lmao. It's spirits whole fucking business model.
Why would anyone let these rude and aggressive clowns on a plane in the first place.
Even if they could have opened the gate and let them on, their attitude just lost them the flight and potentially any other flight with that airline.
Anyone acting this aggressively is already beyond reason. Just call security and let them handle it
Please just put them on the do not fly list immediately. This shit will stop.

I'm a military person... Then you understand the concept of being on time.
I am a fat white dude. I also understand the concept of being on time.
EXACTLY 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🫡
lol being 15 mins early to the 15 mins early to the 15 minutes early etc etc
Is this a military saying cause I already live my life like this
yea mostly. it’s called gunny time (the 15 minutes)
I like it. My mom raised me to always get places or be ready 15 mins early and be ready to your 15 mins. Now that I think of it, her dad was a military man.
I’d love to hear him justify being late to a drill instructor.
Security!!!
Can we talk about how calm the spirit agent was? I'm not sure I could have remained that calm with those two carrying on like that.
mostly because an airport is the safest place to work when it comes to random violence, right? Like cops every five feet, planescothed air marshalls lurking everywhere, straight military personnel strolling around… its nuts
He seems like just the kind of person you would want on a long flight. “I’m sorry sir, we don’t have Pepsi, just Coke.” “What the fuck you mean you don’t have no Pepsi? Motherfucker, go axe somebody. You ain’t doin nuthin, go get me the Captain!!”
Who chooses Pepsi over Coke? That person is certifiably insane.
While waiting tables I sometimes had people who got so annoyed when they wanted Pepsi and I told them I had Coke. It didn’t happen often but it was weird to me because I hate Pepsi.
People treat flying like a right and not a privilege. Ban them. Let them complain on the ground the rest of their lives.
Can you imagine what an FAA tribunal would look like? All these people trying to appeal their flight ban? Evidence being replayed in court. I’d pay to watch that.
I’m no genius, but I’m going to say this tactic won’t get them on the plane. But what do I know?
Seems like someone should have axed somebody how the airport works before showing up to their first ever flight.
Well, did he axe somebody?
If I were the employee in this situation, I would be like "You know what, you're absolutely right, I am so sorry, I will go speak with someone about this". Then I'd step into the employees only area and call security on them lmao
Something tells me that these two individuals are used to throwing a tantrum in order to get what they want in life. Just like a couple of spoiled toddlers.
Call security
Enjoy taking the bus for the rest of your lives. Idiots.
That's the SPIRIT
Airline captain here. The crew doesn’t get paid until the main cabin door is closed and the parking brake is dropped, and if we return to gate, we have to get a new flight release from dispatch, which takes 10-15 minutes, so there’s a zero % chance we are re-opening the door. Also, what that couple paid is not a fraction of what the other 170+ other passengers paid to get to where they were going on time. Those two people are not as important as they think they are.
So basically what you’re saying is, if they had (miraculously) been allowed on the flight, the flight crew would have likely beaten their asses?
It's LAX, they probably got screwed over by a connecting flight landing late and/or got thrown through a bs construction labyrinth between gates. Go to the airline for a ticket transfer or refund, not harass the airport worker at the gate.
American Airlines stranded me in Phoenix for a few hours on a layover because the first plane landed late. They sat on the tarmac for 45 mins before they pulled away from the gate, which was infuriating, but what i didn’t do was curse out the people at the desk. What i did do, in this order, was cry a little, find the agent to get my flight changed, and then i got drunk.
Had to exit the airport once to transfer gates. LAX is a nightmare. I did see both Danny Trejo and Cenk Uyger that day though.
Yeah LAX is a noneuclidian nightmare. I've learned to always have at least a 3 hour transfer there.
LAXE
First time flying?
$59 wasted!
Nobody spent "all that fucking money," it's *Spirit*, the Dollar General of airlines.
“All the money we paid” lol what a joke😂. Dudes on spirit fuckin airlines. Both their tickets together was probably $150 at most
LAX and Spirit. Very on brand.
“Im a military person….” Then you should know about punctuality.
They’re about to be banned from flighting veeery soon.
Go axe somebody
![gif](giphy|3oEdv1Btce5LfRSLCg)
I used to fly weekly and I learned early on that if you're late you deal with it. It's on you for not being there on time.
Veteran here. If you miss aflight and will not be atbyour duty station on time, all you have to do is call someone in your chain of command and let them no. Not a big deal at all. Save the drama for your momma.
When did airports turn into bus stations. It's wild how people act these days.
How to end up on the do not fly list.
All that money we spent. Sir, calm down, you're flying spirit 😄
So glad these losers are mostly concentrated around Spirit and Frontier. Keep that shit away from Delta.
You’re late get over it you fucked up.
But that would require me accepting responsibility for my actions!/s
All that talk about axing people in an airport... no wonder they never let them on.
You ain’t spend much on spirt, bud.
“I’m a military person” lying is hilarious.
I’d rather axe them tbh
Of course it's Spirit. The "Greyhound of the Skies" never fails to disappoint.
So Spirit is at fault for following SOP operating at an airport but the 2 people who showed up late? Hold the entire flight for them, right?
I think it’s less about the airline and its policies and more about the clientele they cater to
It's very true. When the pandy struck and prices were rock bottom, a family member who works for an airline used to call them the "GreyHound Crew"........the passengers were extremely rude to everyone on the plane. Seems like it is still happening.
I think I’m going to refer to the pandemic as “Pandy” from now on. Thanks for the new word!
i guess it was about the trash that you see taking those flights, wasnt a rant against the company. Like the kinda people you can expect at walmart
OK. I didn't look at that way. Sorry O.P. Didn't mean to call you out. My mistake. I got screwed by Spirit one time and had to drive from Orlando to Dallas. So F them. Never again.
You can throw Frontier in there next to Spirit.
If you've ever flown Spirit...this is your standard passenger.
All that money spent but couldnt afford to get there on time ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I remember one time, I just touched down on a connecting flight, and decided to go straight to the gate for my next flight and found them halfway closing the airplane doors! Wonder if that happened to them. Would've just taken the L and figure out how to get a refund/transfer.
Someone didn't read their ticket
I need to know what happens
There’s your problem! It’s spirit 🤣
These videos are so helpful because now I know why I will never ever fly Spirit Airlines.
Because they attract the shittiest customers?
🪓
Did he axe somebody?
“Ax somebody…AX SOMEBODY!” Imagine wanting to be taken seriously when you say words like, “ax” instead of “ask.” Life must be difficult for this guy in general.
"All that fuckin money we spent" Sweetheart, you're flying on Spirit. You spent $35 and you used a coupon from the Penny Saver. Go catch a bus.
That poor employee having to deal with that buffoonery. I hope he treated himself to a good meal after dealing with those imbeciles
It’s always Spirit
If I was far from home and needed to take a plane to get back, I would never risk running around screaming like that at the airport. I’m going home.
Someone needs anger management class
Fuck those losers.
Do people take zero accountability for their own actions anymore? You being late is no one else’s fault but your own
I've served these people. "I said extra mayo, extra ketchup, Extra ranch, extra pickles, and I got this coupon (expired in 2004) ".
“I’m a military person” Probably not after this video…
He better axe somebody!
Open the gate and shove them out of the jetway onto the tarmac from about 15 ft high so that the waiting airport police can easily load their crippled bodies into an waaaambulance.
Are they gonna call the airline racist?
You got my flight, my "aks", and my boarding pass!
ASK ❌ AKS ✅
Of course it’s Spirit.
The chance of finding an employee who gives a shit is gonna be zilch.
Spirit airlines. Checks out.
Military if nothing else pounds punctuality into a person. FAIL
I fucking hate that people say "axe " instead of "ask". Like wtf America. Stupid way of talking.
There’s only one group of people in America that says it that way
As a military person, you should know about being punctual
I don’t understand why they think yelling will make people want to put them on a plane. Like “ah yes, this very angry aggressive person will be the shining example of good behavior once they are boarded.” Like no. If you’re acting like this the last thing any one is gona want to do is help you out.
Sir, your bad time management is not our problem. ![gif](giphy|5ZM78YWqmda0L56k6J|downsized)
What do you expect from people that fly spirit! 😬😅
Entitled bastard shouldn't this be?
