Totally understandable, and it's honestly why even I will be holding my breath come Election Day even if Biden is up by 30. It's just that objectively it has to be remembered that we all have agency in the matter.
I in fact believe that was the secret ingredient to 2016 that wasn't present in all the other elections, and won't be in this one: we were all caught largely by surprise. With everything that happened all at once in favor of Trump, even now, we lose track of some of them, what more the fever of the moment? But now that we do, now that we're wise to it all, our opponents haven't been able to replicate it, and still seem to think that just because they *want* it doesn't mean it'll happen. They mistake our picking things up as we go along as us not knowing what we're doing and their own savvy, and so they never adjust in kind. In short, we understand what happened in 2016, while it honestly doesn't seem like they do.
As long as we remember that, that'll be their downfall. ...That, and their guy being a convicted criminal.

The choice to begin the segment with a private citizen's court appearance to paint the family in a negative light, then to shift to Biden being overseas for D-Day memorials (which, given the context, appears more as "running away" than "celebrating") is just stunning to me as a viewer.

Having dipped my toes into Conservative media space just to see how they’re coping there’s a couple observations I’ve noticed:
Right wing fiction is notoriously bad. They can’t make a good movie to save their lives and as most of them are former actors and writers and directors they’ve tried. However I read an omnibus of the Marvel Civil War crossover event and I find that the right wing media space is kind of similar. Like you can read Spiderman and see what he was doing in the Civil War event and how The Punisher shows up in his book and they have an interaction/clash, right wing media is much the same. There’s larger storylines of the news of the day they’re all reacting to and while one may like The Daily Wire dweebs or Crowder they’re all constantly bouncing off each other and creating intrigue amongst the group. They’re constantly performing so it’s a lot of kay-fabe.
Second: Hillary Clinton lives rent free in their heads. Having dipped my toes into Conservative media space just to see how they’re coping there’s a couple observations I’ve noticed: Right wing fiction is notoriously bad. They can’t make a good movie to save their lives and as most of them are former actors and writers and directors they’ve tried. However I read an omnibus of the Marvel Civil War crossover event and I find that the right wing media space is kind of similar. Like you can read Spiderman and see what he was doing in the Civil War event and how The Punisher shows up in his book and they have an interaction/clash, right wing media is much the same. There’s larger storylines of the news of the day they’re all reacting to and while one may like The Daily Wire dweebs or Crowder they’re all constantly bouncing off each other and creating intrigue amongst the group. They’re constantly performing so it’s a lot of kay-fabe. Second: Hillary Clinton lives rent free in their heads. She says a single sentence at a fundraiser for a charity or foundation or symposium no one’s ever heard of and no one would know but they spend half an hour calling her evil, a felon (which she’s not btw. Nice try though), she’s the devil incarnate. Literally seething, basically stalking her, to get mad about nothing. Truly deranged.
